Ok, here are some sample pictures of the new sliders. If all goes well we will get to use them in force at TDC!

Remember the logic the colors represent:
  • Bard (Gold) - Singing for all those gold coins as tips
  • Barbarian (Carmel) - To match their brown hide armor
  • Cleric (Aqua) - Green for healing
  • Druid (Mocha) - For all those brown trees they protect
  • Dwarf Figher (Lava) - The color of their beards
  • Elf Wizard (Sky) - Matches their shocking nature
  • Fighter (Silver) - Their glimmering plate mail
  • Monk (Black) - For all the black belts
  • Paladin (Snow) - Pure as the driven snow
  • Ranger (Grass) - For spending all the time hunting in the grass
  • Rogue (Sapphire) - What else would a rogue pocket
  • Wizard (Fire) - Because Wizards cast Fire (and we all duck)

Great work on these Ed. Look forward to using them. Not sure if these colors are set in stone but if not you might want to change the Bard to yellow. The Bard, Barbarian, and to a lesser case the Druid all look very close in color. And yellow still ties in with the treasure theme.

Love the look of the numbers on the monk sliders, also second tweaking the bard or barb to a brighter yellow if possible since they do look really similar.

They really do look great though, cant wait to play with them.

I can't wait to test drive them!

Are the characters adhesive labels, painted on, or embedded (sort of like inverted bas-relief)? I'm asking because if they're stickers or paint, will they be likely to become scratched & unreadable after a while?

I think these look great. I like the different colors quite a bit, and I think that a couple are bound to be close to one another such that we will have to deal with the fact that a couple may get mixed up from time to time.
