I'm happy with my results, even though we had no Legendary or Eldrich tokens. It's fun knowing that there is a slight shot at such powerful tokens. I'm changing my position a bit on that, if a number of Legendary tokens could be given away on the Golden Ticket run last year, I think I'm OK with some of them being in the token boxes for the everyone to have a shot at, as long as their percentage is pretty low. I do think that getting a token like that in the draw could spark someone to become a hard-core token buyer to try to get more tokens of similar power.

I learned this year that it is possible for really really good tokens to be in the treasure boxes. Pulled a +5 Baton on my simple 4 treasure draws, and it is by far more powerful than anything I or my friends have collected over the years.

I don't know about becoming a hardcore token buyer, but I'm sure the baton will be part of my party for years to come. And I'm happy that it's possible to get super lucky. :)

Good point, you did better on your 4 draws than I did on my 550. Getting a Legendary from the Treasure Boxes is better than anything I've ever drawn from a treasure box, amazing you did that with just 4 draws. Maybe I'll have to pull a few more from the boxes next year myself. Although I think we'll have the tubes next year if all goes according to plan. :)

Congrats! That's probably a $1000 - $1300 token, and it's fairly unlikely to be nailed by power creep.

Keep it secret, keep it safe ;).

I don't know anything about the rumor, but technically they normally sell the Adventurer's Guild token with large orders. So if someone bought one of those levels at GenCon they could, rather than giving out the AG tokens, just give them the choice of a treasure draw or a completion token right there.

Frankly, if they buy that many tokens there I have no issue with them getting a few treasure draws.

The Most Rare Token I Found Was... 7 years 7 months ago #65

My treasure draws have been calculated and the rarest token I found was:

According to my spreadsheet (which has to be right) ;-) my group did 687 draws all but 7 from token bags resulting in:

267 Uncommons - 39% (1,600 GP)
268 Rares - 39% (8,700 GP)
18 Specials - 3%
118 Monster Trophies - 17%
4 - Completion Tokens - 1%
11 - Trade Goods - 2%
1 - Other - 0%

On Monster Trophies I got a pretty even distribution with the most being Eyes, and the least being Venom.

On the Specials I only got 1 high end Relic (Baton) and no gold over 2.5K.

Overall I am neutral on the results mostly because my Specials tended to be a the low end or weak UR. Not all years can be Wertz though.
