Re: smakdown's auction house. 14 years 1 day ago #193

Just a week or two ago somebody bought one on the forum in the $225-250 range... the gp-to-$$ conversion doesn't always work smoothly, especially in the case of probably the single most sought after piece of gear (it's between that and the amulet of wonder, right?).

I'm an AoW fan, but I think the HoP has it beat in terms of demand.
I have GPs laying around. I know I wont get an artifact(this year) so the HoP and AoW are very tempting for me to bid on

Someone got a great deal, I'd buy as many as anyone wanted to sell at the $225-$250 range (PM me now if you have one for sale). This one is going for a LOT more than I'd suspected though, that amount is starting to rival the artifact tokens in the auctions.

this is hardly close to the artifacts. they went for 70k. one of these might get that high in later years though. as it was pointed out, these are not going to get cheaper.

if they mail large denominations, it shouldn't be a problem. reserve bars are good too.

if they send it all in 50gp or less tokens....ouch. =| but i'll still take it. =D
