Probably a transition piece, used in the dungeon to go from a round pipe to a rectangular channel. Possibly used on the walls of Weird Magic or with the light tubes.

If you go to the hardware store or Menard's it is used to make the transition from a downspout to the circular pipe for the underground drain designed to move the water away from a house or structure.

There wasn't any water involved, but it definitely went with the flow.

Edit: yes, there actually was some water, but it wasn't what was flowing.

This is one of the connnectors for the translucent tubes that the different colored light flowed through for one of the puzzles. I believe it gave the ship power. It seemed light blue was the one that worked.
