Good question. I don't know for sure, but I think I can narrow it down a little. I have a copy of the 2009 party card (it was only 4" wide back then!) which has no places to make a treasure stamp. The earliest copy of the expanded party card format (8½×14) I can find is from 2012. My guess is the in-game pulls stopped somewhere between 2009 and 2012, but I can't be certain.

I started in 2011 and there were stamps that year.

I can 100% confirm the last treasure stamps were in year 2014.

There were several issues with the treasure rooms for the module Flight of the Zephyr that lead to a massive negative response from the community. (specifically one puzzle that would deny treasure if ANYONE in the room didn't use the solution to complete the room via token use and another puzzle using vacuums that broke repeatedly throughout the weekend)

The next year treasure rooms were gone and the Horn of Plenty was updated to simply give +6 treasure (initially it was 3 treasure per treasure stamp)

I believe it was 2008. In 2007 there were definitely in room draws - I can't say for certain when they stopped, other than I know they were done in the room in 2007.

I remember the vacuum puzzle, several people in my group had run it before and couldn't get it to work on their previous runs either. What was the first puzzle you mentioned?

There was a series of steps over a lava flow that you had to walk on in a specific sequence to avoid damage. The goal was just to get to the other side.

That year had boots of Lava Walking that negated the damage. But if you used them you automatically failed the room. If ANY member of the party did. And you weren't told until AFTER the treasure stamp was failed.

That room was in 2015 - the one where you had to spell numbers, right? I believe the run name was “into the under dark”. I got those boots in my booster, and used them to cross, ruining the treasure stamp for the vets on the run. Had no idea what was going on at that time - I think it was our very first run.

I was glad when the Treasure Stamps went away, I thought it caused a lot of unnecessary stress and in some cases ill will. Although we negated them in some years by playing the Bard Troubadour and enabling him to use his spell to get a free treasure stamp all three times on the run.

I recall in one of the early years (pre-HOP), when my only treasure pull on one run was a 1 GP token. :)

I remember when we randomly pulled weapon tokens before the run if we didn't have any (probably in 2005, the first year they were used).

Yep, it was 2005. I think everyone got a few pulls as they went into the pre-event area.

I remember thinking the Ranger got a nice bonus because they got two draws from the random weapon bag instead of just one. :)

I don't recall getting free pulls, but I do remember being able to trade for weapons/armor before going into the dungeon (using gp?), It's been a while.
