One of the primary reasons I have avoided living in CA all of my adult life. I feel like they make just about everything harder and more expensive than it needs to me. Obviously there are other states with similar issues, I try to avoid all of them... my last three states I have lived in: Georgia, New Hampshire, Arizona. Not that they don't all have their own issues too, but just fewer of them.
