The argument went-

"Wizards and Monks just got their first AC boost at head slot last year. Why are we upping it to 2, already? Not only is it 2, it's got -2 fire damage...making it better than a lot of helms"

Thanks for the history lesson. I guess not enough Rogues spoke up because we have no +2 Head piece. I wish the unfair police took Rogues into consideration, we really need a premiere head slot. Oh well, is what it is...lame.

Rogues aren't suppose to wear heavier armor in TD like wizards aren't. The trickster cap from last year was your first + to AC ever. So I understand you might be complaining, but rogues historically don't have AC in their head slot in TD.

Also that Trickster Cap is +2 to AC so you cannot accurately say "we have no +2 Head piece"

LOL, I forgot about that one as I am very biased towards anything with a negative in it so I write them off almost instantly. I really just wanted my character to wear a sweet Monster Skull Hell hat, it's so Heavy Metal. Unfortunately my no neg rule will not allow me to partake, I think it's lame but I am not complaining just commenting it made my 2019 PYP choices that much easier. After seeing the Recipes I see it as a good thing now.

(For the Record I wanted the Rogue Legendary to be head or back slot so I am not advocating for an armored head peice. The hood of Shadows is a nicer upgrade.

I’m a little worried about +2 melee damage to all in the same year we’re getting +4/6 str to all. That’s +4-5 damage on each melee puck all at once...

Absolutely agree!

Ranged needs a lot of help.

Melee, not so much.

As melee damage, this will make for interesting choices coming up with all the treasure enhancing ioun stones.

Now that nightshade is off the rogue legendary, there's no reason for it to be a sapphire and I am firmly back to wanting it to be a hood. It would actually be cool from a build variety perspective if it turned from boots to a neck to a hood.

Melee got a ring last year.

I think range could use both.

I also think there is a lot of melee damage coming from the kilts.

Yeah. this last minute change to an even split on LoDS makes it seem like another big step back. Jeff, hopefully you see fit to remove the parentheses.

Also want to agree with Wade that the Ioun Stone should help ranged damage. We already have Ring of Frost which is functionally the same as this new Ioun Stone.

Padding ranged damage should help with build diversity and encourage more players to view Ranged Combat as a viable option.

Honestly I dont feel like ranged is at much of a disadvantage anymore at all. We also need to be careful boosting it since the crazy damage wheel on IOs now was based on there not being a lot of ranged boosters.

How many are using the bow over Thor's hammer though?

Probably quite a few, that said it's not like the hammer wouldn't benefit too, and from what I understand the hammer does more damage when you get your str into the thirties.

Lenses of Divine Sight should just say "between multiple targets " and drop rounding language. It's not broken to heal one character 3 another 7 and another 1. It's cool, good and mitigates the nerfing.

Trying to think as a player without a bunch of URs:

Hat of the Hellway can just lose the -2 saves.

Barrelbane can be 6/-3/-3.

I think you could only ever use it on 2 players.

6/-3/-3 maybe too good.

2 Players. I agree. But I thought we were getting flexibility on how to allocate the healing.between those two.
