I remember how amazed we were with the Icecrag when it came out. I reflect on how I have talked about Icecrag and Orbits creating slot lock for me.

So while I have advocated for the +3 save on the bead, I am ok with the +2 and Freedom of Movement.. Especially in a year where power creep (or the avoidance thereof) is taking center stage.

Well said sir!

Some observations on the transmute images:

- The legendary tokens should have their year symbols removed, to match all other legendaries
- The kilt should have a five-point relic symbol, to match the boots and ring

Looking at where the transmuted URL appears and the transmuted token list, I see fairly obvious correlations for most of the transmutes, except the following:

- The common Potion Vigor Root has the URL
- The uncommon and rare GP tokens have the URL
- Figurine of Power: Dog and Enchanter's Whetstone have no obvious source

I'm assuming these mean that the the Potion Distilled Healing is sticking around, the FOP: Dog is based on either of the uncommon GP tokens, and the Whetstone is based on any of the rare GP tokens, but I just wanted to make sure.

So clerics cannot use Thor’s for a few years while they were wait for a charm? Is there any harm in that?

So just to clarify they could use the existing Kilt like they did for this year.

Transmutes:

I guess the only image input I have here, is if I asked for fireworks to come out of the UR lute, I guess I've got to ask for lasers shooting out of the relic's neck, and Widseth's to be engulfed in flames. Ok... maybe that's a little much :)

Can they still do it with the UR Kilt? Obviously not an ideal solution.

No, not at all, there are many, many, many ways Clerics can assemble their necessary +9 DEX:

For awesome top tier builds it's probably a choice between:

RoSP or RoSP Segment 6: +1
Ioun Stone Quicksilver Cube and Sphere: +2, +1
The new Kilt: +4
Charm of the Sipquick: +2
Lenses of the Fae: +3
Stu-Pendous Pendant: +3
Exalted Creeper Amulet: +4
Gloves of the Cutpurse: +5
Bracers of Fast Fitness: +2

There are a few dozen much cheaper tokens that are less likely to see play in high end builds.

Of course, many of those knock out things like Charm Necklace or LoDS, or have minuses to STR, making us worse at melee (as Fatherbane does). Can’t have everything...

Yeah - I agree with you - Clerics pay a higher price than anyone else to use this, probably keeping them -2 or -3 STR relative to other classes - which is a bummer.

Just wanted to clarify that it's not the situation that clerics literally can't equip this thing until more DEX boosters get printed.

As Fiddy said, it's less game altering to fix Cleric than just keep stacking DEX.
D&D teaches all the important lessons in life - the low blow, the cheap shot, the back stab, the double cross. - Jerry Marsischky

Is it really something that needs to be fixed that the healing class has a harder time equipping a top end melee / ranged weapon than other classes?

The design intent of the Hammer was "a ranged legendary weapon available to all classes."

So, the answer to your question is: "No, that would not be a problem, but that's not the role the Hammer is supposed to fulfill."
