I think the Earcuff of Phalanx isn't getting love because many of the players on the forums posting about already have Icecrag and Earcuff of Orbits (two BIS) for most builds.

But what about the player trying to move up to UR? They don't want to spend $200 and someone might get this as a random or treasure box pull it is instantly +2 AC. Or they could trade someone who did get it.

I don't think it is a top tier desired but it sure is BIS for someone that doesn't have the huge token collection or cash resources.

Also. I think any of these URs will be good for a player who doesnt have any, or doesn't have one in that slot.

Your argument about trading could apply to any token.

I am not saying every item has to be clearly better than those that come before, I am just not excited about this one.

The value goes up a lot if you are pmaykmg with fewer players, assuming ghosts can equip them.

I would like to see the +2 saves added back to the holy avenger. Also without the +2 saves the only thing that makes it better than the old holy sword is the fact it’s 1 handed. I would take a 1 handed version of the old holy sword over this one as is. I’ll get it anyways for the transmute later (I assume I need it for that but don’t really know)

Thanks for all the good feedback! I made some changes. I am off to take Avery to the State Fair where I plan on sweating profusely and snatching up large quantities of salt water taffy. I will hit the Transmutes tonight!

Really? Your State Fair is going on now, too? The MN State Fair is in full swing, but it is raining today. And I avoid the Fair like a plague, unless there is a concert I need to see.

i am saying i am not replacing a rare with it. sure there maybe folks that like it. but even if it was a flat 4 ac i would not wear it over Inspiration for wizards since +4 ac < +4 damage in my book.
