Agree. For other data points, there are URs that give +2 saves plus a significant bonus, a UR that gives +3 to saves, and a Relic that does +4 to saves. +3 to saves and free action is probably about right at the Relic level.

For a five star relic requiring 4 years of bits, I’d like to see it a notch better than the +2 save tokens at lower rarities. +3 seemed right to me.

+1 more seems logical

I'll say I was super excited about it at +3.

At +2 I'm like... eeh - I'll still make it and use it. But something about that extra +1...

It is a relic - albeit in a new slot.

If it's too good for the bead slot maybe make it an Ioun?

Saves and free movement are both Ioun effects, and a +3 to saves & free movement seems just about right for an Ioun given UR Ioun Stone Topaz Trilliant is a UR.

Wasn’t there suppose to be a way to be able to use more than a single bead coming up?

Sorry, I was busy with some late-night errands, to (cough) ensure that I have enough funds for the 2019 token collection. Looks like it's gonna be an expensive one!

Quick Comments:

Jeff: Thank you Very Much for moving the Class-Specific Transmute paths to the Neck slot. I think this slot has a lot of competitive choices, and while the Legendary versions may outshine them, the UR and Relic levels still provide for some Interesting choices to be made.

* I really appreciate that you listen to your (passionate!) fan base, and have put forward a plan which people can consider as they collect tokens for their dream builds.

* I would not have made the previously proposed Relic or Legendary Sneak boots. I will certainly make at least the Relic version of the new Necklaces.

* Picc is right: It should be "Nightshade" and not Raven. It feels weird to see my actual name on a token. (I was going to PM or email you about it... but tokens are all still in development so I wasn't in a rush)

* The Legendaries have always had the Orange theme, so I can understand if you want to keep that final bit of artwork Orange... but if it's up to me, Nightshade's Necklace (hey, that's got a great ring to it!) would have at least 20 Sapphires in it. Like a Sapphire Choker.

* Alternatively (and I'm serious about this) I'd be *perfectly* happy to have the beautiful blue Relic renamed "Nightshade's Necklace" and keep the Sapphire graphics, while the Legendary keeps its Orange necklace, and acquires a new name.

* You are awesome.

No. Just No. I'd rather leave as is than move it to IS.

Yes but monster bits are a dime a dozen now with there being 4 conventions. Back in the day you had to run a dungeon multiple times to get a set. Maybe power is relative.''

I will gladly give you $0.10 for a dozen monster bits. ;)

Seriously though, for players that haven't jumped to UR TE, they're likely getting no more than one monster bit per run on average. And most of them likely haven't been bothering to pick up monster bits from the secondary market in preparation for this transmute (those wise ones will have). Just because they are a relatively cheap now doesn't mean that they'll stay that way once people understand their use. If the recipe does need all 16 monster bits, at $6-$7 each plus the likely need for a rare, you're still easily at or above the cost of a UR. And I expect the prices will go up.

Agreed, the iounstone slot is already very crowded and only getting more so with the nugget series. The only way I could see the story line relic moving there would be if it also say granted psychic so as to replace a commonly equipped stone.

Actually now that I say it I'm surprised that the relic for the storyline were chased a mindslayer stealing psychic teeth doesn't grant psychic or at least have more of a tenticle theme to the image. The icecrags cold resist & dracolich claw were both way more on theme.

Maybe we could add enables psychic since that power isn't actually that big without the teeth to power it anyway.

I think the key may be that we are likely to still be chasing him at the end of the arc. We may not catch him until the end of the next arc (so maybe that story arc transmute will have psychic).

That's a valid point, 2 years left after this one + a special event for finishing the teeth, could be a good time to catch him. If that's the case though it doesn't feel much like were at the end of the story arc.

I suspect we'll catch up to him at the end of this arc, something properly dramatic will happen bringing some amount of closure, but he'll slip away.
