I think Jeff posted at one point that he planned to move on from Eldritch after the Kilt and Teeth. But my search-fu is weak today.

I think Jeff posted at one point that he planned to move on from Eldritch after the Kilt and Teeth. But my search-fu is weak today.

I don't recall seeing that, if anyone can find that post I'd be very interested to see it.

I personally hope to see them keep getting made. As a newer player my options are limited, if they keep making Eldritch items and I buy the parts every year then I slowly build up to the Eldritch set bonus. Or I can go spend 3K or 4K to get to that level. I personally don’t see the value in the Ro7P at its price so I can’t justify buying it just for Eldritch. If they stop making Eldritch items it dose cut off future players from being able to ever get the bonus of them. I’m ok with the sets slowing down. Maybe the next one being a 4 year instead of a 3 year.

If new Eldritch items take a average of 4 years then it’s still a long time of playing to get to that bonus.

I actually also hope that they continue to make the Eldritch tokens. I totally understand that established players that have several of the existing items are ready to move on, but I think it's best for newer players if they can have a path to the Eldritch Bonuses from new tokens. Although I'll totally understand if Jeff wants to move to something new.

In my mind, Eldritch is a rarity. I can easily imagine many other Eldritch items in the future that are not part of the Elemental Eldritch set.

I know that Wade's quote was a response to my comment...I have no idea if Ed's remark is just a general one, or if it's directed at my thoughts on the future of the Eldritch bonus.

Either way, I think that large scale changes should be announced as far in advance as is possible. I dare say that such planning and thought can reduce the number of individuals who end up angry or upset.

I would imagine that his comment is more based on the experience of someone always being displeased with a particular change.

I would say there are some newer players who are collecting kilts and teeth hoping to get to a 2 or 3 piece bonus with one of those.

Changing those bonuses would infuriate those people for sure.
