True, but it would be appropriate if this Eldritch transmuted token was obviously better than UR options for the slot.

Perhaps make it +5/+5/+5, but change the Eldritch Set bonus. Differentiate between Grand and Minor Eldritch pieces for the set bonus. In fact perhaps move to 2 and/or 3 piece bonus for Kilt /Ring/Boots. Then 2 piece Grand Eldritch set for rod plus tooth?

Or design a new set bonus from 3 to 7 pieces, where Grand Eldritch counts as two pieces each.

I like the idea of a 3 to 7 point set.

It has always seemed odd to me that the kilts are 3 while everything else is 4 or 7 pieces.

I know we as players like a lot of power from our items. I agree that a transmute should be better than the URs it takes to make it, but how much better is something we should be careful with.
I am.planning on making several eldritch kilts either way, but still counsel caution in the power level.

This feels like moving the goal posts on mid range collectors. Ideas like this should be established when the original announcement is made.

Has anyone thought about adding spellpower?

As the base kilts didn't, I don't think so.
That said, it's an idea, and would probably take away the sting of losing particularly high Con bonuses from wizards who like to cut themselves.

I agree completely. I don't think at this point the 2 and 3 item bonuses should be altered, nor should the scale be changed. The 4 item bonus is of course completely open, as is whether there will even be a fifth level bonus. I hope the 4 item bonus is fairly minor, and I'd recommend no 5 item or higher bonuses.

I am going to be interested to see if there is a new Eldritch transmute started in 2020. I'm guessing there will be, and Jeff will keep making them so that newer players have access to the bonuses from new token purchases as well.

I was thinking + 3 or 4 stats, +2 Focus.
Adding focus definitely makes them more appealing for spellcasters, but does nothing for melee classes.
Depending on the strength kilt this year, will those who stack really even want to make the eldritch kilt?

How about +4 to all stats, and we find a way to make INT and CHA more useful?

Like definitively make the Wizard's spell check bonuses INT based?

Change the Paladin's Lay on Hand to be equal to their CHA score, with extra boxes that the trainer/coach crosses off it the Pally doesn't boost their CHA?

Bonuses to Psychic power (whatever it does) if your mental stats are high?

Extra Ioun stone if either WIS or INT exceeds 18?

How's about:
Kilt of Deathbane
+4 To STR, DEX, CON, INT, WIS, CHA. Free Action if 3 or more attributes are 18+. -3 to all non-Eldritch damage if all attributes are 18+.
