In the hands of a Paladin, when the party rolls a saving throw they roll twice and take the higher roll.

I like the roll twice mechanic, but it seems pointless to put it on a bad weapon. First, nobody except paladin would choose this over another UR weapon, and even paladin will just use the ability then switch weapons. Probably better as a different slot for paladin only.

Thematically I love the idea of the Paladin giving up something for the benefit of the party.

In practice we already have Paladins giving up their neck slot item for a 2nd guard. Having them give up another slot does feel a bit limiting to me.
It may be too good as a slotless, even once per game.
Maybe a back slot, so those with brooching can use it and another?
Or a figurine, as a Paladin can already have 2 of those?
Or add it to a new UR shield? Could make for some interesting choices.

Wow, super strong. Unfortunately, i think negating all the damage is too good. Since a major balancing effect is to use AoE attacks. Maybe half damage?

Also +1 to a 1-h holy weapon for paladins that can eventually transmute to a holy avenger.

I like this, perhaps an Int prerequisite as you would need to be crafty

Against evil creatures, In the hands of a Cleric or Paladin the Flail gains Keen (19-20 crit range) and brutal criticals (crits are 3x damage).

Include ranger?

Ooooo. I like this. Not exactly a Charm of Spell Swapping, but has some functional similarities. (I swap out all my slide spells for fear of sliding - and smelly fighter types .)
