Re: WYC Sat (Grind@9AM, Run@8PM): FULL 9 years 2 weeks ago #109

Update to Aenllan

Swap in +3 Mithral Bracers.
D&D teaches all the important lessons in life - the low blow, the cheap shot, the back stab, the double cross. - Jerry Marsischky

Let them trap us. We have our swords. - Elric of Melnibone.

You try to get them to play the game, but all they want to do is play the rules. - Ardak Kumerian

I do not love the bright sword for its sharpness, nor the arrow for its swiftness, nor the warrior for his glory. I love only that which they defend - Faramir

Got it!

Everybody, please review your build if you haven't already, I still need to know what changes to make for most of you for TrueGrind.

For me it is easy (swap of Charm of Avarice for Cadaver Charm) but some of you might have more complicated changes, please let me know.

Hey everybody. It looks like we are all set for both TrueGrind at 9AM on Saturday and the dungeon run at 8PM on Saturday. I sent calendar invites but please be aware of timezone differences.

I'll aim to be at both of these 30min early since I have some trades with some of you, tokens to lend, etc. Speaking of lending tokens, here is what I have that I'm lending out:

joshua baessler +5 Viper Strike Fang
Aenllan Charm of Avarice
UNINVITED Charm of Synergy
Aenllan Charm of Synergy
cass_christopher Charm of Synergy
joshua baessler Charm of Synergy
joshua baessler Gloves of the Brute (ONYX)
joshua baessler Shirt of the Underdark (ONYX)
Picc Widseth's Magical Lute (ONYX)
Picc Briano's Blessed Bodhran (ONYX)
djm999 IS Onyx Sphere
djm999 IS Quicksilver Cube
joshua baessler Librium of Looting

I don't have CoGF on that list, I'll have enough for anybody who needs to borrow one. I will have 1 or 2 other Charms of Avarice that I could lend out instead of the CoGF although for those of you who I'm lending the CoAs to I wouldn't mind a few of the extra treasure draws you get from it.

Debating on AOW for Aenllan. He would only have access to level one power, so either cell repair for 4 hp or water waking. It will effect an additional target, but a Druid with lenses of divine sight, gloves of healing, greater ring of focus and the eldritch bonus has better things to do.

I could swap in a stu Pendous Pendant. It's not going to help much with melee or ranged numbers. They will still be anemic. But it would boost his AC to 30.

Still waiting on the dungeon effect.

So it is AoW vs Stupendous Pendant? I'd say try out AoW if he wants to if only to see how it works. It wouldn't seem that the pendant is too great for him.

You say he would be power tier 1, does that mean he'll have Tooth of Cavadar along with it?

Also, I definitely think we should plan on either lunch after TrueGrind or dinner before the dungeon run. At least for those who want to. I don't know anything about the area so I have no idea what the options are (especially for those of us without a vehicle).

Well the other option is a charm necklace, but other than Wil's Dragonheart, there may not be much that I can add. I'll look it over and let you know.

I don't think we even know the theme of Grind, but it seems they are much more likely to have environmental effects based on my experience. Some rare or uncommon charms might be a good idea.

Ok, Aenllan will stick with the AOW for both runs. I'll replace CoA with Dracolich claw charm for grind and he will replace CoA with Wils Dragonheart for grind.

Bring on the loot :P
