How do you guys feel about some Nightmare action? A quick glance at the roster makes me confident we're in good shape for it, tokens & skills-wise.

it is Chips son...those three are fine with it

Thanks Laz for the vote of Confidence, and Yes Charles and I would love to try nightmare Level. We have the Leader of the Thieves guild in our party, how could we fail?

Indeed. Whatever we do, it shall be Epic!

Hopefully not as Epic as the time I refused to hand over the (prop) Mithral cluster to the Paladin so we could use it as a key to open the door and escape the mines... and the Paladin looked the other way while the ?Fighter? threatened to kill me. Luckily, the ?Ranger? eventually paid me for the key, and we were all good. Well, except for the Cleric, who made me pay him for healing for the rest of the run. >.<

I kind of think that GT combat runs should always be at Nightmare. Perhaps puzzle runs can be left as lowest common denominator.

If somebody won't or can't do nightmare then they can sign up for the puzzle run, or the rest of us can lend them the necessary tokens.

We buy, sell, and trade True Dungeon tokens. We also have a convenient consignment program where you can sell your own tokens.

That is not fair. That is why it isn't like that

I strongly disagree. Despite my preference for Nightmare, what the GT run needs is a group that will work together well, and can communicate and compromise if needed, to reach their goal.

To the best of my knowledge, the goal of the GT run is to create a unique & memorable experience.

Some people might enjoy the experience more if the combat feels hard, but that shouldn't come at the expense of someone else's experience. Even if the group lends tokens to the less well-equipped player(s), that won't necessarily make their experience a good one. Some folks feel overwhelmed with too many tokens & choices. Some people prefer a cake-walk style game. Some people don't care as long as they feel heard & welcomed rather than railroaded into things.

I'm flexible. I'd really like to run Nightmare, but I know I will have fun no matter what mode we're playing on.

Very well said Raven, but I would expect nothing else from my experiences with you on forum, in person and what is said about (it is all good....well almost ;) )

I fully agree!

I'm happy with anything from Nightmare to casual, so long as everyone has fun.

Meh, the HoP effect has always been a nice perk, but never the reason to run GT. I suspect most people who end up with GTs will already have a way to get max treasure. Those who don't will be running with some very cool folks who are known for sharing, right?

Of course, there might be another reason for not providing the HoP effect for the GT run... but I'll keep those thoughts to myself, in case I'm wrong.

Anyway: Thanks for letting us know, Laz. :)
