Okaaaay....

Due to some last-minute volunteer shift shuffling, it doesn't look like I'll be available on Saturday evening for any Double-Downs at all. My apologies to anyone who was hoping to join me on this.

Xavon, I'd love to be part of your Sunday group if that option is still open!

Shady Veldrin says he is in; laz, Raven and Adeya, are you three all still good?

I'm still in!

Am I correct that these are the classes we're playing?

Xavon: Monk
Laz: Rogue
Adeya: Wizard
Raven: Ranger(?)
Shady: Some kind of healer

Couple of things I note: (1) We don't have a paladin to protect the Wizard. (2) We don't have a Bard to boost us with bardsong.

Is that going to be a problem? Honestly, with this crew, we'll be putting up high enough attack bonuses without bardsong. I think we can skip bard.
Adeya: How do you feel about going in without a Paladin to cover you?

Xavon: We haven't yet decided for sure if we're doing Hardcore or Nightmare yet, right? If I recall, the plan was to aim for Hardcore, with the possibility to change our minds if we feel up to Nightmare?

Shady said he was looking at either Bard or Cleric.

I can switch to Paladin if we think the Guard for Adeya and the extra healing is better. If I go full defense I can get a 35 AC. But my DPS plummets.

I got a second Charm of Synergy for my mule (from laz, interestingly enough), so I have two of those covered. My plan for my mule is Charm of Awareness, Charm of Synergy, CoGF, Ro¥, Gloves of the Cabal, and Bracelets of the Cabal.

Definitely Hardcore, but if everyone is up for Nightmare, I say we go for it. I've got a stack of PoDD burning a hole in my beltpouch.

If we are doing this on Sunday, than I am in! And I'm ok with going without a Paladin as long as there is a healer paying a lot of attention to me. :)

I will have potions. I always pay attention to you. You play a squishy wizard.

I have CoSx3, CoGx3, but only one RoR and one HoP. I wasn't planning on wearing my HoP or RoR anyways - I'd rather fill those slots with useful equipment - so my retainer mule will be carrying them.

I also have a spare Charm of Awareness to put on a retainer.

Xavon, your Monk stats are excellent. If you don't want to switch to Pali, and Adeya has an attentive Healer, I think we should keep you in Monk. That way we kill the monster faster, and it has fewer rounds to target our squishy Wizard.

Besides, if Shady doesn't perform as advertised, you can always lay into him with your flying fists, and I'm sure he'll smarten up for next time. (If not, we'll let Adeya at him with her Mad Evoker's Charm :)

PYP with my Mad Evoker's Charm. Hehe, I like it!

And as for equipping mules, if people have Cabal items, that would be helpful to me. I only have the one set for myself, and will probably only use them in runs where Cabal Synergy is happening.

I have no Cabal items, since I never play casters.

Also, if things go PvP, I'm gonna backstab the Wizard let Laz backstab the Wizard, and pick-pocket her Mad Evoker's Charm. Then it's Xavon and me vs. the rest of you.
