what, What, WHAAAAT!?!
That's awful! I'm really sorry that happened to you.

We also had a party running before us in one of our runs which caused some... difficulties.

From what I understand (and was able to glimpse through the cracks in curtains) one of their members was mobility impaired. Gathering up all their gear, and moving things around for the scooter to access the door, and waiting for the slow scooter to clear the room, and sometimes to back up and take another run at an awkward doorway... it took time. It meant that pretty much every room, we lost 1 - 2 minutes.

Luckily, this wasn't our first run through, and we were more than able to make do without those 2 minutes in each room. But man, it must have sucked for the party ahead of us, starting each room a couple minutes late.

I wonder if there's a possibility that TD can work out some accommodations next year, for parties who need to spend more than the average amount of time in transit. Say, drop the monster's HP a bit, or remind them a couple minutes before the end of a puzzle room so anyone in a wheelchair or scooter can begin packing up or moving on. Or perhaps handle any healing done to the mobility impaired individual first.

Just tossing out ideas.

Thanks for the shout, Nimble!

We had 3 URs pulled over the course of the Con (1 on Friday, 2 on Sat!) and the winners were all really happy. We also had someone pull a 1000 gp bar on Thursday.

I hope more patrons of the tavern/storyscape enjoyed the entertainment we provided :)

After reading about it on the forums, I'm definitely sad I missed it.

Use Amorgens excel sheet to make a party card pre run and you have pretty much achieved this goal.

It started out way to easy and so the Wyvern were bumped to 500hp which we did defeat once, but the other time we ran out of time. By the end of the CON it was set at 200-250 and we breezed through it in two rounds on nightmare.

It started at 150 and was increased to 200. The 500 should never have happened as at no time were us DM's told to increase it to that.

Sad I missed it as well. :(

One of my favorite things of True Dungeon has been the Rogue's Game Raven runs.

There's also the iphone app, which was great. No paper, carry my phone with me anyway, what more could you ask for?

Definitely a big thanks to Amorgen for continuing to update the excel sheet, and a big thanks to Tom for making the iphone app. Huzzah! :)

I did two runs with Wynne and agree that there were massive fluctuations in the Wyvern swarm HP.

For the Saturday 4:36 PM run (Nightmare), they had well more than 200 HP.

I was 5th level Cleric and the 5th level Druid and I did Spell Surged Call Lightnings 3 times (with a Restore Spell and 2 x Restore Power), which is 120 damage by itself. I also did a Searing Light (20), the Druid also used both Firebolts (28) and was working on her Freezing Orbs. So that is About 170-180 damage from just the Cleric & Druid. And during that whole time there were several other party members attacking at range. Overall we just barely managed to kill the Wyverns in time, so I think they had a whole lot more than they should. (Maybe the DM thought that each Wyvern had about 100-150 HP?).

On Sunday for the 12:36 PM run (Nightmare) the Wyvern swarm was a lot wussier. We killed them with plenty of extra time to hang out and chat with the DM's.

We had a DM like that for our last run, which was puzzle. He never let us get beyond the first symbol...All of us had solved the puzzle before on combat (some of us 2 or potentially more times), so I was saving my Troubadour spell for another puzzle that we didn't know (1st puzzle run)...Still a bit miffed that was the only treasure stamp I would have needed to use the spell for, since we solved everything else.

Speaking of which how many Troubadour didn't end up needing their spell after it was cast? We used our voucher on Zephyr puzzle and ended up solving or killing all the treasure rooms.

4/4

Did two Zephyr Combat Nightmare runs with Troubadours which were Flawless Victories (solved all puzzles and rooms, got all treasures and stamps).

Both times we used the Treasure Finding on the Happy Fun Ball, Room #4 and Air/Vacuum Pump, Room #6, but we solved them anyway. We considered using the Restore Spell for third castings of Treasure Finding, but the Air Elemental was so easy we didn't bother.

So no actual benefit from the Treasure Finding (which would have been helpful for both of the Viper Combat runs where we couldn't get that egg spiral to work!).

Did we ever get confirmation that the Cleric Restore Spell would work with Treasure Finding. We didn't try it either. We also used it on the same rooms as you.
