TOPIC: Favorite Moment....

Oh, the last Medusa I met I was playing Paladin and taunted her terribly (i.e. thumbs in the ear wiggling my fingers saying, "see? I have snakes too!" and such) and we role played it up a bit. Had on a Medallion of Greyhawk. She teased back and kept trying to kill me, poison me, something and got frustrated. We had a good laugh but we did end up turning her into snake jelly.

She was also trying very hard to distract our corseted wizard!

As we were leaving our wizard asked Medusa for ideas on where to put her Polymeric Decoy. She grabbed it and popped it in the Paladin Slider!

Barbarian iz hav gud time. Me hit very hard and hirt bad guiz. Pepole who run room wuz always shaking hed at how hard i hit. I laffed. Ha, ha, haaa!

My favourite moment of the Con was having young children come through my rooms and helping them to feel part of the action. As a career I teach children martial arts so I know sometimes the children feel almost left out while playing a grown up game. Just watching their eyes light up as you describe their killing blow or I even had a young lady that was super shy but I got her to come out of her shell a little while I described the wizard board to her for her challenge. All in all, I enjoy seeing people have a good time.

I was given a quest this year. I intend to repeat it next year. And every year until I can no longer attend Gencon.

That was my favorite moment this year.

One of the most fun True Dungeon runs I was on this past week was with this little Rogue. I think she was 10. Sorry I forget her name, but a true gamer. And I would love to run with her and everyone else is the group. And to the Bard that gear'd this little lady out. You are a gentleman Sir and a great sport. I tip my hat to you for your great deed.

This is a tough one, I have three favorite moments:

1) Running Zephyr with the great Widseth and his family, it was an awesome time running with the one and only (i my opinion) "Spoony Bard"

2) Running the last full run of Vipers Pit on Sunday afternoon with Kubu and his wife, (I don't know if I got a chance to say thank you, and I am humbly sorry if I didn't)

3) using the Flank ability of our 5th level rouge to place a stop just behind the 20 on the High priest in Room 7 of Vipers, which led me to sliding a "Crit to the the (literal) Face"

all in all it was a great time and I so look forward to next year, I hope i get to run a nightmare as I sacrificed my spot for a friend who could only run at certain times.
