I was considering wearing the Amulet of Wonder on my GT run. What if I roll the HoP effect? Does it stack with the freebie HoP or can I reroll?

Assumed not, but since GT runs are "special"...

Hopefully a reroll then? Obviously can't happen outside of GT runs...

It would be nice to get a reroll if you get an effect you cannot use, or let people tweak their build. Otherwise, it's an Amulet of Blunder. (Yeah, even I thought that was stupid.)

But maybe it's ok to penalize purpled-out players. It's only a 1-in-6 chance.

For most of those on a GT run it would be a 1/3 chance of being a useless roll...

Reroll would be nice if you already have a +1 lvl.

Mostly I'm just hoping every coach gets a die. Wonder amulets are more common now than in the past, would be a shame to have to wait on one of these to turn up.

I don't look forward to last second character rebuilds on a roll of +1 lvl.

With so many ways to get the +1 level now getting from the AOW seems odd to me. That and as valetutto mentioned dealing with rebuilds (or at least new math) for new +1 levels in the coaching area seem more headache for coaches.

not everyone has a vast token collection. some people bought AoW last year (for the HoP effect)
that is the only UR they had coming through the dungeon(not a sealed pack run either)
this could get them to 5th level

I know not everyone has one, but there are a lot more that have a +1 Level than the last time the AoW was a chance for +1 level in 2011.

Anyone having any of these or at least 3 might pieces have a one in six chance of the amulet doing nothing for them (unless they do get a re-roll in which I strike my entire argument).

EDIT: I can get 5 out my group's 10 to an extra level so the other five will be wearing AoW. The 5 with a level bump already though I am not certain because chances are good that one of them will end up with a useless necklace.
