In my defense, Adeya wasn't actually wearing the full Batgirl costume when I ran into her. She just had black make-up over her eyes, and a soulful but self-sufficient and heroically prepared expression on her face. She could have been any number of batty individuals. And I hold to the adage "Always be yourself. Unless you can be BatMan. In that case: be Batman" ... so I made the assumption that she was Batman.

LOL It's ok Raven I did the same thing when she was in costume DURING our run. More than once.

A permanent aura of shame has become my new cloak. Lol Adeya was VERY quick to correct me. :silly:

I was doing Stephanie Brown Batgirl during her first three issues when she was still wearing Cassandra Cain's Batgirl outfit, while is probably the most masculine of the Batgirl costumes. Most people thought I was doing a gender-bending Batman cosplay which I wasn't so I grew a sensitivity to it. But this year I'm planning on a new Batgirl costume which should help people call me Batgirl instead of Batman or female-Batman.
