If they don't do skill checks in Grind, I'm willing to play any character class. I just don't want to do the Cleric/Wizard memorization

I'd signed up for one slot originally, but that was for an extra AG for my run. If you have two extra spots available at any point my best friend is coming along with me.

Does it look okay for everyone...i think i got everyones first or second choice

there are no skill checks...takes too long

everyone keep a charm slot for charm of synergy(i have 10) so we all get 10 extra hit points

Looks good to me! This might be the first dungeon run I've ever done, going all the way back to 2003, without a Wizard in the group

If I can manage to connect with Dennis before the run, I might be able to transmute for my Rod so I can get the Eldritch bonus of +10 HP. Maybe also get my Lenses of Divine Sight to double it. I guess I need to pick up that rare token that boosts my stat up so I can use it too.

I believe the Bard with the Lute will be most valuable to the group in a combat heavy environment. So that is my vote.

Having not done a grind before (thanks for this opportunity, Lazlo), is it important to balance melee and missile, or preferable to focus on one or the other?

Here is my dilemma - transmuting for the +2 Keen Slayer Bow on Saturday. Since I am playing the barbarian, if I should balance combat, I will need to equip my Stu-Pendous Pendant to get to the necessary 18 Dex to use it. I would rather use my Medallion of Greyhawk or the Charm Necklace if I am going to focus on melee. Plus all of the other decisions to make that can impact one or the other...

Thoughts?

My philosophy is always do most damage possible...yet 2 years ago, if you didnt have The MoG on, you lost body parts if hit by the black knight

so it is a toss up

I like bard with widseths for all the extra damage.

I will be pally with a +15 to hit with the +2 keen slayer bow.
still have an open ring slot. I haven't had a chance to figure out what my grind replacement for ring of riches is on a ranged build.

also, please note that you do not need to equip Amulet of Wonder, you already get it from Eris. Though, we may not find out until Saturday what kind of mood she is in.

I think this is the first run I'll have done with an Artifact in the group, and we have two. Pretty cool
