TOPIC: GT runs 2014..

I know this was mentioned in some thread at some point, but will we need our GenCon Badges to run the GT run? If so - folks need to be prepared to be in town at least 1-2 hours earlier than the event to give time for that.

if anyone is going to be cutting it close and needs a badge for the GT run, please pm me. I will take care of that

I'm in for the Zephyr puzzle run perfectly fine with any difficulty for the run.

This might be a dumb question, but the last two years my badge and event tickets were mailed to me in advance, and I'm hoping that will be the case this year.

How do you go about not having them mailed to you?

There's a will call option when you check out.

I use will call because if your packets are lost in the mail you are SOL. If will call looses my packets it's on them. Just saying...

Last time I used will call (I can't remember if that was 2012 or 2011), I got in line at 8:30am and finally got my badge by 12:30. Standing in line for four hours on Thursday morning wasn't so bad I guess, but I always get it mailed to me now...

Will Call opens at Noon on Wednesday and remains open through Sunday . Yes, that means you can access Will Call at, for instance, 1:00 am on Thursday morning.

Also will call has changed a lot in the last 2 years
It's a lot faster than it used to be

Well being local, we always made a night of going downtown and getting dinner and picking up will call, or purchasing on Wednesday night. Lately though, so has everyone else. Wednesday evening has been a little crowded. I haven't tried going down at noon on Wednesday, but then, I'm already stretching my time off thin with just Thursday and Friday...
