It's happened before.

Some are just on a delay. For example, I've technically been in possession of my GT for months since it came in my initial order but only just recently discovered it because I don't open all my packs at one time.

There was a year where they weren't all uncovered and I believe at the time they said any GT that turned up in a pack after the run could be exchanged for a choice UR.

I think one of the runs last year wasn't full, if I remember correctly it was the Lycan's Puzzle group.

So it definitely happens.

This is my first GT run, and I also want to transmute two tokens while at GenCon. Is there any opportunity to transmute before/after the GT run or should I plan to do that later during GenCon?

(I'll have all of the ingredients already converted to trade goods)

If you get your transmutes in before August, you should get them back before Gencon. The standard has been that anything received in August doesn't get sent back out until September.

OK, thanks. I just sent in for my trade goods today (those are some heavy boxes!) and it sounds like if I turn it around quickly I'll just send in for my transmutes next.

See this changing in the future depending on the floating gencon dates

I'll get them sent it June to be safe... because I'd be upset at myself if it didn't get back in time. I'm going Ranger, and my +2 Keen Crossbow is my only good ranged weapon... and I don't really need the Slayer bow, but wouldn't mind it.

Edit: actually, ignore that. I only have 19 dexterity... and I plan to get the full Viper set as my PYP next year, so actually I'll just wait to transmute until after I get my 2015 tokens in the mail and figure out what I want to do.
