I wonder if a lot of the people that have run Nightmare in the past are doing Hardcore runs this year. I know my group would have normally have done 3 full Nightmare runs, but this year we are converting to all Hardcore runs.

It is interesting how many tickets are available Thursday -especially the morning. I wonder how many of the available tickets are still there because people don't realize they can do the two adventures in any order, and how much because lots of people are just getting in on Thursday morning and aren't available for the early runs.

Yeah Mike that seems right. Tickets are still selling so I think eventually it will be a sell-out or very close. About 150 tickets sold in the past 2 weeks. My guess is there will still be a few available at GENCON, but there will probably be some walk-up traffic that will fill the last of the slots.

It seems this is about the perfect amount of tickets for True Dungeon. Everyone that wanted a ticket has gotten one, and there are still a reasonable amount of tickets left for new players that decide closer to GENCON (or at GENCON) to give it a try. I hope a lot of these remaining tickets translate into a bunch of new players

If you still need a full run 12:26 Thursday Golembane Combat is still out there (which is not the same one that was out there 2 weeks ago).

The number of runs available didn't go down that much but overall another 100 total tickets sold in the past 2 weeks. Of the 82 runs available, 58 are 1 slot available. So only 24 runs have multiple slots available (And 9 of those are Nightmare).

I suspect the Hardcore option made Nightmare less desirable for many people. In past year's I'd have grabbed some of those Nightmare tickets, but we went all Hardcore this year. Perhaps the dedicated slots next year should be split between Hardcore and Nightmare?

Uncertainty is making my group go hardcore versus nightmare.
We're currently working with the assumption old nightmare is now hardcore.

I think that Hardcore is somewhere between old Nightmare and old Normal (maybe about where the old Hardcore difficulty level was), and new Nightmare is equal to or more difficult than old Nightmare. I think the purpose was to provide a difficulty level between Normal and Nightmare, since the gap between the two had grown so large.

I think the hesitation is the unknown..I hope dedicated (all) are still for nightmare..it is so hard to get a group to run nightmare(hardcore will be easier to convince)

I am running one NM Puzzle and one NM Combat on Thursday. I am starting to think I may be dead before room 7, lol. Now to find more PoDD

Nightmare puzzle isn't that bad, its just super unforgiving. My first year the wife and I ran nightmare puzzle in a pickup group with not much more then starter bags. Nailed all the puzzles and got through no problem. Now nightmare combat on the other hand...
