<br />Mmmm - is it healthier to have many semi-dedicated fans, or a small core of hardcore geek fans?  You probably sell the same number of tix, but the hardcore might be where you make you money thru token purchases, shirt.food sales, etc.  <br />

<br /><br />I think you'd always want to be growing your fan-base, just to keep things vital.  I've seen games and other fandoms with a ravenous core of dedicated super-fans and virtually no growth.  In the end, the fervor cools down, and the hard-core fans (little by little) move on to other things and the franchise sort of just dries up.  Now, it's great to have a core of fans that can provide most of the needed support, but you always need some growth to offset attrition. <br />

The more new fans, the more potential Token Buyer's.  I wasn't thinking of it as either - or.  It would be great to retain all the hard-core fans AND bring in new ones.  =)

<br /><br /><br />That just not right, but very funny. I'd love to be in a room with a HoP user and pull that effect out.<br /><br />Actually i hope its a Random cool effect that reflects the "of Wonder" theme. Do i use my HoP or gamble on a chance ill get to pull four and keep one in each room.
