as a DM I'd call in for a ruling if I saw a Proxy, assuming an official policy hadn't been made clear.  Generally I'd not have a problem if they could show me the original (say in a binder), and they didn't have Mutiple proxies for the same Token ( without multiple copies of the same)<br /><br />I'd hate to think that the entire party could all use 1 skull of doom due to False proxies (it's hard enough to keep players from passing them anyway if they choose to)<br /><br />Really what it comes down to is we have to assume we're all honest, or we'll over regulate the whole thing in an effort to make it "cheat proof".  I'm here to tell you, you cannot prevent cheating...you can limit it, and discourage it..but as soon as a rule is made 10 people will start thinking of ways around it.<br /><br />Lets all work with the Honesty policy, and relax, enjoy the dungoen, let the DM's worry about killing the party instead of Guarding the treasure.

<br />I too carry quite a few tokens loose in hand...I thought I would try something different at GenCon 2009...they are screw together hobby containers I think from Target.<br /><br />Each "cell" holds 6 tokens - the wand sized thing in the picture is actually two sets put together - so 48 tokens MAX.<br /><br />

<br /><br />We had those at True Realm on Saturday.  We were sitting kinda in the back.  We have purchased several more and are setting them up for GenCon for each person in our group.  We have them each labeled with things like "heals", "burning hands", "bumps", "arrows", etc depending the the character.  We used a label maker to print out little label tapes for each level.  We purchased ours at Walmart in the craft section.<br /><br />Jennifer

<br /><br />Depends if its the "core" group or the general Gen Con players.  I personally think most the the core TD people are honest, but its the stray players I'd worry about.
