Oh, you still have plenty to worry about it.

I just meant outright theft by someone in the party. I've never had my slider leave the table, so that wasn't something I was considering.
But maybe I should have, since I have lost a token on the floor. (I found one the DM had hidden on a ledge. I felt it with the side of my finger and heard it hit the floor, but I couldn't locate it, even though I spent at least half of the time we were in the room looking for it. I suspect it was picked up by the player who picked one up off the floor about the same time. She claimed it was one she had dropped, so I didn't pursue the issue.)

One problem is that the carpet in the Marriott is like perfect token camouflage. I like the white sticker idea. Another idea is UV paint along the edges of the token - if you drop it, the DM might have a blacklight you could use to find it.

What do you all think about permanently marking some URs? We've got some, particularly Proofs/Onyx, that I can't foresee ever trading. Maybe sharpie initials on the back, or something imprinted, like a brand or something scratched into the back.

Your token - your call...but I can't even consider marking (defacing) any of my URs...

I actually managed to slide of the SIDE of a combat board at True Realm...it was a first for me, but I was trying to avoid hitting something in the main body of the board, if I remember correctly. But in general, having end rails has helped some!

I too carry quite a few tokens loose in hand...I thought I would try something different at GenCon 2009...they are screw together hobby containers I think from Target.

Each "cell" holds 6 tokens - the wand sized thing in the picture is actually two sets put together - so 48 tokens MAX.

Were you sitting near the exit of the Dungeon at True Realm on Saturday?
There was someone there who showed me his containers just like those....
I picked one up to look at. It had scrolls in it.

Here's what I found to hold tokens. It's a plastic case with individual compartments for nails and screws:

Twas not me...I know there are a few others using the holders already...I think they should work pretty well - but i think it will require labels around each section as you can't see the face of the tokens down in the other sections.

The plastic container looks neat. I may have to go and check out Target and see if I can find them.

Kim

I just like how the compartments of that clear tube connect to one another.

Kim

If you only fill the end few containers with tokens, it'd make a good weighted club.

Legally... its questionable. Morally... its disgusting. Personally... I *like* it.
