Speaking of the horn of plenty, for the sake of us embryos, are you going to reprint the hop every 3 years, like the other ultra rares that are in demand? There are some of us out there that are only willing to pay TD the big bucks for tokens, not upwards of $200 for the hop on Ebay.

I think there are enough HoP floating around -- since it effects treasure pulls so much. We won't be reprinting it any time soon.

But hey, you can always just borrow one from a certain Cleric! :evil6:

See that - it's the beauty of the torc of natural armor +2 being a rare that's biting some people in the butt. If you don't have a hop or an amulet of greyhawk, or some other fancy neckpiece, that lowly rare torc +2 starts looking pretty good, and is arguably more important. This is the value of multiple high end items in the same slot - it adds a lot of depth to the game, forces a difficult choice for people who have every token, and gives those who did not spend their last dime on tokens a reasonable option.

huh...my thoughts are all over the place, a lot of which i know is just due to expectations:

i will continue to assume that the celestial longsword should be one-handed (unless jeff says otherwise) and stay happy about the celestial set.

crown of might: WOW, giving all classes a +1AC 'helm'...and wasnt it said this will also become a set? any chance on info regarding class restrictions of future items?

mithral helmet: ::le sigh::, i really thought the point of making this not a shield was for rangers...if rangers cant use it i really liked the shield from before (though, i understand if shields have enough attention without it). as for rangers using it, if the crown of might could give us +1AC anyway and with more immunities, it isnt much of a boost if at all, depending on how you value immunities (well, until you count the set bonus...what was the set bonus? i just thought it would be cool to be the mithral+celestial ranger).

ring of fire elemental command: man, youre killing me. you had to taunt us with the +2 fire damage (which is basically +4 fire damage for any of us with two attacks), then you just take it away again. i was just really excited about giving BOTH purp +1 long swords an extra 2 fire damage (and +1 runestone damage). though, maybe that is why the ability got changed ;) this used to be my clear first pick (along with celestial set), now it is bordering on my 'purchase' line. i still want one, but i wont be devastated if my purchasing power says otherwise.

questors charm: im actually kinda indifferent on this one. extra treasure is awesome, but i dont like conditionals unless the item is still useful without the condition being met. that said, i will probably still get one for my rogue friend...she has already requested to use a horn of plenty instead of other amulets because she likes getting more treasure, even if she isnt keeping it (she doesnt want to bother collecting, so she lets me do that).

hmm, seems the specifics i mentioned were mostly bad. so i wanted to add that, over all, this is a great set of URs, and i would love to get ahold of many of these.
Crown of Might make the Circlet of Elemental Mastery much less desirable. Who would choose the ability to change a spell (not a scroll or wand) damage type to one of two other types versus a 5% less chance of getting hit and immunity to charm and psionics? (not me)

I would have to agree especially with the added bonus with using the other set items from the Might set. (not sure what this will be or if the wizard can even use it.)
Regarding the Charm, please keep in mind that it does not take a slot away from anything. It is slotless.

Carrying one will get you a few extra tokens per run if you are a good slider -- at no "slot" cost. It's like free money, baby!

And you just know this is going to happen: You decide not to carry one -- and you slide three 20's in one combat!

BTW, the Coach can just put a little "+" next to the class on the Party Card if they are carrying a Charm. The DM's can see that easily.

This should make sliding those "20"s even more fun -- and tempt people into going for that hard "20" instead of the easy "16" that would hit anyway. I think this will make things a wee bit more interesting.

Sorry if you didn't get your second Horn of Plenty.

I'd say! It will be like free money for a 20 all right. Getting 2 or 3 twenties per combat is not out of reach for some. I like it a lot. Let's think of it this way. Say my token doesn't hit the twenty.(Ya Right!) Someone else bumps it on the twenty. All righty then!!!!

Circlet of the Arch Druid missing the 2009 symbols. I see that there are more charges and no residual value. Still hate the idea of defacing tokens.

Yes, I still would love to see this changed to a once/dungeon instead of a charged item. It will likely never see use as a charged item. :beg-plead-grovel:

Also I kinda envisioned something with twisted branches, leaves and maybe a some bear teeth woven in.
