Gloves of Missile Snaring:   Allows the wearer to catch small, thrown or weapon propelled missiles.  Once caught the missile can be thrown back as an attack.  If the missile is the type that automatically returns an attack cannot be made with it.<br /><br />Platemail of Thorns:  If the wearer is hit, armor causes 4pts of damage to the monster<br /><br /><br />Kim

Here are a few UR that I would like to see...<br /><br />Gaelic Circlet of the Fae [ Head slot instead of helm for any class] +2 to AC/ +2 to will saves<br /><br />Brigit's Flame [Flame Enchanted Club, one hand slot, for any non-fighter class] +2 to hit (2-3-4-5-6-6).  Ignites any substance for 4 pts of fire damage with a successful hit<br /><br />Quartz Ioun Stone = +1 hp for each Ioun stone in use by player<br /><br />Sapphire Ioun Stone = +4 to Wisdom<br /><br />Vita Ligna Wand [Usable by clerics and druids] 4 cgs, acts like a potion of Death's Door<br /><br />Armband of Clear Sight [Upper arm/new slot any class]  Allows wearer to see though illusions <br /><br />Laurel Wreath of Athena [ Head slot any class] +1 to AC/+2 to Wisdom<br /><br />Toga of Heracles [Armor] + 5 to AC/+2 to strength.  When used with Laurel Wreath, Immune to Charm<br /><br />Winged Sandals of Mercury [Foot slot] +4 on initiative rolls.  When use with Toga of Heracles, allows 2 actions or attacks once per room. <br /><br />Hammer of Vulcan [One hand slot for fighter classes] Can repair any metal item.  +2 to hit/+2 to damage<br /><br />Wooden Ring of Oak [Druids only] +2 to Constitution/ +4 hp<br /><br />Golden Sickle [One hand weapon, Druid only] +1 to hit and damage (2-2-3-4-5-5) / 1000gp value / When used with Wooden Ring, adds one ingredient token (if available in the room) to the treasure pull.  Extra treasure effect canceled out if the Druid wears the Horn of Plenty.  <br /><br />Necklace of Fireballs [must be worn in the Neck slot/consumable] five ruby beads, each of which will cast a 16 pt fireball when thrown at target.  Always hits on a slide of 5 or higher.<br /><br />Leather Girdle of Truth [Clerics only, belt slot] Acts as a permanent Bless<br /><br />Dagger of the Assassin  [Any class] Dagger +1 to hit/damage (2-3-4-5). Allows the wielder to make a back stab for double damage before combat begins<br /><br />Golden Fleece [Any class, worn as a cloak] Adds one extra token for your treasure pull.  Does not stack with the Horn of Plenty<br /><br />Sling Staff [Any class, except monk or mage] +2 to hit/+3 to damage (4-5-5-6-6-7-7-8) <br /><br />

I will add my 2 cents worth.<br /><br />1. Gloves of Monkey Grip: Allows a fighter or ranger to use a 2-handed weapon in one hand, allowing the use of a shield.  (takes the same slot as Gauntlets of Ogre Power)<br /><br />2. Wand of Tenser's Transformation: 4 charges: Allows wizard to use the fighter base attack +1<br /><br />3. Figurine of Wondorous Power: Ebony Fly: Allow the owner to "fly" over any section of floor avoiding any floor traps or across a chasm: useable once per dungeon<br /><br />4. Glasses of Detect Magic: Wizard or Bard<br /><br />5. Gloves of Shocking Grasp: Wizard or Bard: Slide vs AC 14- melee attack: 5 HP of shock damage<br /><br />6. Wand of Creeping Doom: Druid only: 4 charges: May only be used once per room (adventure?): 10 HP damage to each enemy: ineffective against non-corporeal creatures  (one correction.  It was supposed to be 10 HP damage to each enemy per round)<br /><br />Tom

Perseus' Very Shiny Shield: +3 AC, acts as mirror (vs gaze attacks, etc) (bard, cleric, fighter, paladin, barbarian, druid)<br /><br />except that I would substitute Perseus's name with a deserving TD person; however, Raven is the only person who comes to mind at this moment, and she already has a token. Who else likes shiny things? Joyus? Pixies' Very Shiny Shield?<br /><br />Cowl of Zeiss- headgear (like a helm), wearer sees all invisible creatures and items, +1 to all saving throws, and druid or cleric wearing this may retry class skill once per room<br /><br /><br /><br /><br />

Robe of Useful Items – Cloak Slot- Once per room allows the wearer to pull a single token out of the DM’s stash expended tokens. If the DM has no tokens, the patch was empty.<br /><br />Charon's Flagon –  Charged UR – Temporarily restores ghost to a perverse “unlife” state that allows player to participate in a single combat. Player gains no XP for that room.

The problem I am having is that most of my ideas I have already posted in the other thread or someone else has stated the same thing just named it differently. So here's a couple that may be different...<br /><br />Cloak of the Mountebank - Wearer can blink to up to three paces away from original spot every second round. <br />(This will not take the place of flying and severely limits the bouncing around the room which could happen from a non-consumable or maybe just make it once per room.)<br /><br />Pandora's Box - Monster is immediately destroyed but user is down to one hit point. Consumable.<br />(Maybe call it Box of Discord? Oh wait this is something like the Hourglass of Imprisonment. I should wait til morning and can think properly  =D)

Various ways of reallocating "+2/+2", mixing it up without creep:  <br /><br />Longsword of Accuracy:  +3 to Hit, +1 Damage<br /><br />Great Axe of Cleaving:  +0 to Hit, +4 Damage<br /><br />Heavy Mace of Bashing:  +1 to Hit, +3 Damage<br /><br />Unerring Longbow:  +4 to Hit , +0 Damage<br /><br />Longbow of Piercing:  +1 to Hit, +3 Damage<br /><br />Dagger of Destruction:  +0 to Hit, +4 Damage<br /><br />Sling of Doom:  +1 to Hit, +3 Damage

I've got a couple ideas myself, using various folklores as a base.<br /><br />Gauntlet of Arawn:  AC 2.  If worn by a Druid, can be consumed to 'throw down the gauntlet' and challenge Arawn, resurrecting the entire party at a DC-17.  Critical failure means instant death for the Druid.<br /><br />Coronauch of the Cait Sidhe: Bardic item.  Once per dungeon, allows any ghost to be resurrected full HP.<br /><br />Spear of Longinus: Ranged. Causes +2 damage to evil creatures in the hands of a Cleric or Paladin.<br /><br />Alternately the Spear can be called a "Holy Lance"<br /><br />Voice of Loquens: Medallion.  Wearer cannot be silenced, allows Bards to take a spoken action while using Bardsong.<br /><br />Rod of Veiovis: Cleric Item.  Cures 2 HP for entire party per room.

Dwarven Throwing Hammer:  <br /><br />Rod of Spell Absorbtion:  3 charges <br /><br />Ring of the Wild Mage:  50% chance to inflict double damage 50% chance for spell to have no effect<br /><br />+2 Heavy Mace  :  If there is no gearons clerics need a decent blunt in current circulation.<br /><br />Platemail of Thorns:  +8 AC and attackers take 25% of damage dealt (not usable in True Arena)
