I once had a portable hole decorated, and used it as a tent when away from the comforts of town

Whats sad is in 4th edition rules that's exactly what you do.  Anyone can determine if an item is magical with 2 hours of handling.

<br /><br /><br />He played the same character for over ten years - fifteen maybe and lost or destroyed three portable holes losing vast amounts of wealth each time. Hehehe. Ah the memories...

Has he perhaps thought of writing his name and address on the inside of each one?

Oh like that would be any consolation. "Hey buddy it has your name inside these Portable Holes! If your so wealthy as to keep losing these got any more! Hey Buddy! Hey! I mean it! Get back here!"

Not with the DM's I usually get. It would be more likely a recreation of the Bag Wars from KOTDT. Or just some thugs trying to get more money from us! Lol. Still it would be nice if their actually were nice people out there who would return a Portable Hole!<br /><br />Lady Myke
