TOPIC: 2008 Tokens -- PLEASE PROOF!

<br />Shouldn't Cleric be able to use the Dragonscale Helm, Tower Shield and +1 Tower Shield?<br />

<br />If ranger can offhand the +1 Mithral Long Sword shouldn't a rogue be able to use it as well?<br />

<br /><br />Maybe since the rogue is a halfling, the longsword is still to large to be wielded effectively, even if it is light enough.

<br />If the ruling on the Belt of Retrieval is only Potions (so it requires Potion in the Name or on the Token) then should Monks Mead and Orcish Double Stout have Potion on them like 2007's dwarven drinks?<br />

<br /><br />It would make it less vague.  I figured, however, things like Anti-toxin and Orcish Double Stout, obviously drinkable solutions, were "potions," even if their tokens didn't say so.<br /><br />

Well here is my 2 cents. The "potion of frost resistance" should be at least an uncommon, any magical potion should not be common. I feel the same way with the "salve of restoration". I think the scroll of "speak with the dead" should be removed, There is a "scepter of the dead" that takes care of that ability and it is ULTRA rare. With the scrolls out there it drops the value of a nice item to almost no game value.

Thanks, Jeff - I worked as an editor when I lived in Chicago.  Some things I thought of are probably not worth doing - for example, the +1 Ring of Protection says "Adds +1 to AC."  "Adds +1" is redundant, but it wouldn't make sense to change that for all the items that would be affected.  In a case like that, it's more important to be consistent than grammatically perfect.<br /><br />Rares looked fine to me.  Only thought was wondering if abbreviations for "round" ("rd") and "hit points" ("hp") should have periods or not ("rd." and "h.p.").<br /><br />The tokens look great, Jeff - thanks for the sneak peak, and thanks for letting us help!<br /><br />Brian<br />

Either have access to the tavern prior to launch, or incoporate a sort of gather information skill roll for the rogue, bard, and maybe paladin and cleric during the coaching. and maybe a wilderness lore roll for druid and ranger since we will be starting just outside the enemy camp i believe?

Poor little Rogues... no new, unique toys for them.<br /><br />
