TOPIC: Is there a planned date for 2008 Tokens?

If the first run is 4800 packs then the odds would be a golden ticket in every 300 packs.  <br /><br />Or a gold ticket every third random purple. <br /><br />Or buy 10 pick-your-own purples and likely get a golden ticket.<br /><br />So if Smak is really going to try for 5 golden tickets, he needs to buy 50 PYOP (a.k.a. 1500 packs) at $12,500 total.  <br /><br />I wonder if it would be cheaper to just ask Jeff to schedule a 3rd gold ticket run (8 slots) for a flat fee of $10,000.  <br /><br />

<br /><br />I've got the same thinking - I run with seven people every year, and there are two in particular that do every run.  I'd hate to do it without them, but if I got one Golden Ticket I'd probably do it, it sounds like a blast!

GTR - great!<br /><br />Could almost call it a Nilla Waifer token...  I'm not into the whole nilla waifer thing, but it certainly is a "TD" thing and they are "golden."  <br /><br /><br />

It will really be funny to see people hunting the 16 golden tickets.  <br /><br />I can just imagine TV newscasters interviewing the winners.<br /><br />(OK, maybe not, but I can imagine Dave trying to do a Podcast interview of the winners.)

I am hopeful we will have our mobile rig set up by then, I think it would be really cool to get some live interviews...<br />

I think recording at the event would be great. <br /><br />I would really like to see the smak order recorded. <br /><br />Its great to keep records of stuff like this. I love looking back at the old posts about TD. Especially the one in 05 about the "future" of TD which is right now lol.

It would be kind of neat to have a recording of Smak opening his token order.  Just out of curiosity, how many people help you open the order?<br /><br />Kim
