TOPIC: Token Collection/Trading System Now Up

I'd guess by looking at who has it and its status. Its an Ultra Rare Jeff gave Doug Martin for his volunteer work.

My only request at this point would be to further narrow the search for the matches by person. For Example, I know that Gary wants my Wondrous Item X. It would be nice to click somewhere and seen all the items I have that Gary wants and all the Items Gary has that I want. Sort of a filter on one person.

Good idea. I hadn't thought of that -- I'll put it on the todo list.

This has now been implemented. In the Buy/Sell Matches page there is now a link for "View Matches" for each user. If you click on this link the page is narrowed to the buy/sell matches for that user.

Wow! What response! Thanks, this is exactly what I was talking about. Makes this MUCH easier to complete a multi-token trade.

i went to gencon indy for the first time this year after much insistence from a friend. i got hooked. hehe TD was sweet. now i am starting to collect tokens. i got a bunch of bags before the convention just to see what it was about. now i am trying to put together sets of tokens from all the years. if anyone has any info that would help. i ordered a great big ole box last week and i am still going through them. any info or suggestions would be appreciated.

much thx doug. that will make it easier to keep up with the years/ frequency/fair value. now all i got to do is finish going through my great big ole box. after i get all of them sorted, i'll be set to trade/sell/buy. right now it looks like 2003 and 2004 are going to be the toughest to fill out, if its even possible. suffice to say, i will have a small? treasure chest next year at indy to bargain/trade with. hehehehehe

i got a good start on 2004 and 2005b. can anyone help me out with 2003 or 2005a. i am also looking for purple ones as well.

Couple things...

1) Hey Doug, love the trading system. Do you think we could get the rest of the Ultra Rares added in there to really get the high-end trading going?

2) I have updated my token list, and am looking to trade. Everything is available, nothing is beyond my bartering table. I also have a Necklace of Fireballs and a Ring of Evasion (although the latter may be a bit more difficult to pry off of my finger.)

3) Thanks to everyone who stopped by to trade with me in the Tavern. It was quite a bit of fun, and I hope that I helped out a few people in surviving the dungeon (especially the guy who traded for my +2 Long Sword. Had that for all of 45 minutes.)

4) Hey Doug... another possibility for the trading system. Is there a way that you could incorporate the price guide into the trading system, so that we could more easily determine the 'value' of our items and the items that we hope to trade for? Might make the whole process a bit smoother. Or, could we have a way to view the total GP value of our own personal horde? That might be neat as well.
