Jeff,
I got my tokens today and absolutely love them! I didn't pull a 00 bag, but that's okay. The only bag that I got that I thought was a little weird was the one that had 5 scimitars in it. Thanks again for putting so much time and effort into the new tokens.

Kim

Jeff,

To echo Kim's comment, my distribution was a little weird as well. Its not a big deal really but I got like 15 Scrolls: Comprehend Languages and only 1 Waterskin. A couple of my packs had 4 of the same common.

Its all good though. These tokens are awesome!

-Douglas

I guess I'll chime in. Got my 240 rolls today and had quite a fun time sorting through it. I'll post the pictures once I figure out where to host it.

However, I do have complaints.

1. In one of the rolls, I received 1 red and 1 green with 8 blacks. So I am missing a green.
2. To echo many other people, there were a few bags were I received 6 of the same commons (reinforced leather in my case). Once I get the pictures up, you can see the wide disparities in my commons stacks.

Otherwise, everything is great! Alas, I received duplicate URs so now have an extra girdle and horn to trade.

Thanks!
Roarry

Hi Roarry!

If your saying you have a and extra Girdle of Hill Giant Strength you want to trade, let me know what you would like for it. The two URs I have for trade are a "Special ?" and the new UR "Elixir of Life". (I think) I have all public reds, uc and commons (I'll have that tallied out today).

I would be interested in trading, buying or some combo.

Let me know what you would like for it.

-Mike

Hi Roarry!

I think we might have a possible trade - I got a Ring of Focus and a +2 Great Axe with my bags of tokens, plus I've got (woodie) a +2 Great Axe, two 750GP Diamonds, a Potion of 10 Pt. Cure Lt. Wounds, a Cloak of Displacement, a 300 GP Ruby, and a +2 Quarterstaff. Would you be willing to trade the Girdle & Horn for your choice of two of the above?

Thanks!
Mike

I think the tokens are fantastic! I love how they feel and look, I love the stickers, I really think everything about them is great! I did very well with my 00 bags, getting three out of my 240 bags, and the distribution of my Rares - while it started out VERY badly with lots of multiples in the lesser Rares, made up for it at the end. My PLAT distribution wasn't very good, so I'm now thinking I might not try to complete a set, as I am missing more than half of the Rares still. But that's all good - more tokens to trade!

I also had MANY Packs with lots of multiples of commons - one of my packs only had two different commons in it. But the upside to that is, with the initial group of 7 (or 8) adventurers, it is a real incentive for them to trade among the party when they get lots of multiples in their individual bags.

I really like the packaging of the tokens, how each pack of 10 are shrinkwapped and the shrinkwrap even has the True Dungeon logo on it! One suggestion for the future would be to package them so either a common or uncommon is showing on the top or the top token is flipped over so you see the back of tokens from either side, to preserve the mystery of what the Rare is. But, one advantage of the way it is done now is you can quickly look at the pack to see if you need it or not, from a Rare perspective.

I'm really looking forward to trading! Eventually I'll try to get a listing of my PLATs and Rares/Uncommons up.

Thanks for doing such a great job on the tokens, Jeff & Co!

Mike

From a collector and token hunter perspective - seeing the RARE is WONDERFUL!

I would not change that design at all.

For the collectors who have commons and uncommons coming out their ears - seeing the Rare will make it possible to determine 1. there is no PURP in the pack (hopefully if the assumption holds true that a PURP is only in a stack topped by a COMMON) and 2. if the RED is one they really don't need multiples of - then they can quickly offer up the un-opened bag for trade.

The only trick will be the PLAT - which some collectors could be fishing for - or not...

Sorry it sounds like your RED and PLAT luck was not much better than mine so far Bro... At least you have your full shipment.

hopefully if the assumption holds true that a PURP is only in a stack topped by a COMMON

Gary,

I did get a UR (Gem of Healing) in a pack topped by a rare (red) not a common. That is the UR I pulled. After everything settles down and gets inventoried, I will be open for business on Monday or Tuesday. I know I will be searching for a few thunderstones and alchemist pouches. I do have several Rare (red) platinums. I would dearly like to get some dryder silk, ioun stone and spindle. I have several amulets of thorns, including a platinum. Anyway I will put out my wish list and trade bait soon.

Fantastic job Jeff, Lori, and crew. Well pleased on this end.

Widseth

All of my PURPs were from packs with a Red on top also. Every pack I got had a Red on top, none had a common. There was no way to tell the packs with a PURP from the packs without one. It sounds like they might have messed up on that one pack of yours, Bro.
