um - well not to add fuel to the fire...<br /><br />the 80 bag token box looked like an elephant sat on it - honestly - it was intact but every side of the box including the top and bottom looked like it was an accordion.  <br /><br />I've had UPS boxes come with one side banged in - and boxes torn...but never one looking like it went into a car crusher...<br /><br />oh well...all will be forgiven when the other two boxes show up.<br /><br />Sad thing is - they did not get scanned into the local post office so it looks like they are not coming today!<br /><br />YIKES!

Well in order to get a refund the shipper (in this case you) would have to call the 800 number and press the button for a GSR (guarenteed service refund) and there is no hassle at all just a check cut to you and mailed out.

My dad had ordered a flat screen monitor from frys I think. And it came UPS. Thankfully they had a ton of stryofoam around it otherwise the monitor would have been broke. There was a giant gash into the middle of the box and into the styrofoam, but thankfully didn't penetrate to pierce the lcd screen, but it was very close.<br /><br />No matter who send with there certainly are bound to be bumps and bruises with as many packages are being moved.

Boxes that come from big shippers are packed well because they know what it goes through and that we wont issue a refund if the packing is insufficient.  Keep that in mind when you send something valuable.  No duct tape, dont let it shift around (tight on all sides), avoid packing peanuts unless its just for a filler and you will come out with an undamaged product.<br /><br />Or you can always ship it next day air since it is handled much less since it pretty much has to go straight to the airport and then to the destination.

What's the deal?  No complaining from Henwy?  He got his tokens, and not a peep outta him!<br /><br />Did ANYBODY besides Gary get their tokens and have ANYTHING to say about them?

It seems either the ones that have recieved them are too enthralled with them to break away and post anything or they are pacing because the shipment hasnt gotten there.

Well to repeat my praise...and try not to ruin the surprise for others...<br /><br />The way they come wrapped is totally professional...<br /><br />The way the stickers are almost always on opposite the backside is totally cool and will make them look great in a binder...<br /><br />The pictures look good - they are easy to read (wonders about low-light...that is something I need to try!)<br /><br />They stack COOL, they look like real treasure!<br /><br />Just AWESOME!<br /><br />oh - and distribution is pretty good too - I got the expected 8 Rare PLATS, 16 Uncommon PLATS and 56 Common Plats...<br /><br />Worst issue with doubles in one bag - I got 5 Grapple Hooks in one bag, and I got 4 Daggers in one bag, other than those two out of 80 - I did not have more than 3 of any one type of item...  <br /><br />G

<br />Jeff, here is my understanding of the USPS system...<br />if you deliver it mid-day or late at night, that day doesn't count.  As such, Wednesday would have been day 0, Thursday day 1, Friday day 2, and Saturday Day 3.  USPS Priority doesn't seem to be much faster than normal delivery, sometimes it shows up on what I thin, of as Day 5.  Local area takes about 2 days (not including day 0!).  The other side of the state or out of state takes 3+ days.<br /><br />In any case, I DID receive mine today.  Yippie!<br /><br />Luckily, I am working from home today, so I got to see them when the arrived.  I'm still sorting.<br /><br />Beneath my fingernails are sore due to opening all of these plastic wraps.  <br /><br />I am about 2/3+ of the way through a 2100 token stack and was about to give up hope of finding a purp when I found a plastic wrap that was different from the rest.  The bottom side had been closed up tighter.  I thought it was just a packing fluke (and probably is).  Inside, however, I found one of the tokens I've been wanting to snag:  <br /><br />                                          a Girdle of Hill Giant Strength !!!<br /><br /><br />Similar to last year, I have encountered many rolls containing three of a single item (3 graps, 3 short bows, etc.).  I'd still like to see if we could reduce the number of 3+ duplicates per bag.  This is especially true for those who only order 1-10 bags.<br /><br />Overall, fantastic tokens.  <br /><br />I've only found a few blemishes (silver circle on the back of a gold token a few times and looks like the peeled backing of a sticker sticking out from behind the sticker and over the edge of a token).  Seems to be pretty consistently good quality (I've only really looked at the fronts, I'm not too concerned with the odd silver on the back of a gold token and I've only encountered the one sticker issue with the front of a token in about the first 1500 tokens).<br /><br /><br />Love them.  Overall, happy.<br /><br /><br />Will post/send token distribution figures when I get a chance to count these and put them into a spreadsheet.<br /><br /><br />Thank you all - very nice. 

John,<br /><br />Don't use your fingernail - find the more open end of the stack - place this end up in your hand so that you can push on the side of the tokens with your thumb...this usually splits the seam of the plastic and it opens right up.<br /><br />Good PURP Pull!<br /><br />I too encountered the sticker slip on a few tokens - 2 I think out of 800...

Ummm, holy WTF!<br /><br />I was just reading weaver's comment about a pack wrapped differently. I recalled one of mine had been wrapped differently but there was nothing interesting about the insides. I decided to go digging through my giant pile of unsorted commons and found a purp in there! WooWoo! I must've just pulled the VR off the top and tossed the rest. The downside? 1000 GP sapphire necklace. ARGH. Gift horse! Gift horse! Must not complain.<br /><br />Ummm...don't suppose anyone wants to trade for it? I've got 2 diamonds too. There's some weird twisted  high GP UR thing for me.
