If the ink doesn't stick, we'll just use a cordless drill and an 1/8" bit....
Hey Jeff...

Have you attempted to mark off consumable boxes on a token yet? Will a sharpie work to mark off wand charges and the like?

Yep. It works fine.

Whew! Close call. Good thing the Sharpies work.

"Now I'll have to refer you to page 49 of the waiver you signed. If you read carefully, it says we CAN drill holes in your hand, and not just by accident."

Reminds me of when I had my wisdom teeth pulled. I had to sign a waiver accepting that I could literally be paralyzed for life or killed by the operation.
Reminds me of when I started grad school and I got a pamphlet telling me that I was getting free dismemberment/decapitation insurance. If my head somehow happened to fly off, I would get $500! Woohoo.

Hmmm...I guess I thought some of you would get your packages in 1-2 days. Perhaps the fact that some of the boxes were so heavy caused them to be delayed somewhat. I hope a bunch get delivered today. And keep in mind that they will also deliver on Saturday.

Good luck in getting your stuff today.

You might be amused to know that recently, a woman actually survived an internal decapitation. See:

www.cnn.com/2007/HEALTH/05/16/internal.decapitation.ap/index.html

or

www.msnbc.msn.com/id/18719316

Do you think she got her $500? (At least in TD, you gotta watch out for Swords of Sharpness and Vorpal Blades!)

The lightest box made it...the other two are not even showing up in my area...

The horse must be having a terrible time with one box strapped to each side...

No worries Jeff - Priority mail is 50/50 in my experience...they say 2-3 days but what they mean is sometimes it really does get there in 2 days and people are shocked - but usually it gets there in 4-5 and then we wonder why they call it Priority.

As a long-time Postal employee, I know Priority mail does in fact get Priority treatment. It is sacked in specially marked bags/containers and flies on many commercial jets and even on competitors’ air flights. I usually tell my customers it takes 3 days to reach its destination unless it is less than few of hundred miles away. Quite often it still takes only 2 days. There are those times when things are missent due to Postal error; however our percentage of PETE (Priority End-to-End) is near 90%. I recently shipped a 7’ piece of PVC pipe containing fishing poles from Pennsylvania to Alaska and it took only 4 days.

I would expect most of the boxes of tokens to be delivered on Saturday, with a few stragglers on Tuesday.

Thank you and God bless,

Larry Anthony

Hey! That's AD&D insurance! (Accidental Death and Dismemberment) I used to have a few hundred thousand dollars worth of that. It's really cheap, since the odds of getting accidentally decapitated are such a long shot for office workers. For like 30 cents a paycheck I got 10x my base salary in AD&D insurance. It's really morbid, though. They have a very detailed payout structure with things like:

Loss of both legs - Payout = 50% of total
Loss of left foot and left hand - Payout = 33% of total
Loss of right ear, right eye and right thumb - Payout = 25% of total

Except for the payout, it's like reading a critical hit chart.
