TOPIC: Thoughts on Eldest Dragon Orb

I thought the real benefit of them is that you can use them any time you could use a blank token until the end of time. So, wizzes care far more about them. But, this is all second hand.

I thought it would only take a few years for the Spirit Pet Dragon to be superseded how wrong was I? It only took a few months. The duck although harder to slide does much more damage than the Spirit Dragon. But more importantly, the duck is much cooler.

I would say the only saving throw available here is for anyone with the spirit pet dragon to also get a spirit slider dragon like the spirit ducky (although Kent's is cool below can't really be slid) .

Seriously, please let the eldest orb allow an additional pet (or even just specifically a pet dragon as slotless).

No, I meant that the Dragon will be usable for all Dungeons into the future, while the Ducky is only usable for two conventions. That is a definite advantage for the Dragon.

As a side note, I like that the Ducky has an expiration date. That lets TD make it pretty powerful without unbalancing things way into the future.

He was talking about MoMoCon, a convention that TD is attending. As in, Kent could go to that to use his spirit pet dragon. I highly doubt it was a reference to Phineas and Ferb.

Just to be clear:

• Spirit Pet Red Dragon may be used in VTD.
• Spirit Pet Rubber Duckie is restricted to Gen Con 2022 and Gamehole Con 2022.

I understand that some people don't play VTD for a multitude of cromulent reasons. If one is going to suggest that token X can only be used at in-person events because they only participate in in-person events, I don't think that's a solid argument.
