TOPIC: No more Shirt of the Nimble

If a card is printed, which I'm all for,,, please make it the size of a token so it fits into our binder sheets.

I am sorry, but this is absolutely ridiculous and specious argument… you can’t order a 2nd tooth… I can’t believe you would even make this comparison. The shirt in question IS SUPPOSE TO BE STILL AVAILABLE… the 2nd tooth is what, 6 years out of availability????

I understand being no longer available but this was an absolutely absurd comment.

Hey Mongo. I think you misinterpreted Jamie's sarcasm for true intent. He was illustrating a general point of player entitlement by bringing up the outlandish example of the 2nd Tooth.

But I certainly get the shock at the statement without context.

Maybe he should try an upside down head to indicate sarcasm, or the </sarcasm> tag for old htlm types my work also. Sarcasm on a message board without clear calls of sarcasm, due to Poe and his law is probably best just not done.

I hope that is what he meant, but that is the problem with forums, you don’t hear the sarcasm… but even with sarcasm, it is still specious… nothing to do with the argument. People expected it to be available for 8 more months but the 2nd tooth couldn’t be gotten for six years!

In TD’s defense they do have it listed “while supplies last” on the previous year tokens…

TD has always taken good care of their fan base… and if there is something that can be worked out, I have full faith they will. 8 months early out of stock is quite a shocker in and of itself… but they have run out of transmutes before… and haven’t reprinted… I think Bead of the Traveller and Greater Alchemist Pouch (or scroll case?) are examples.

I learn something new every day! I have never heard of Poe’s Law before… but after reading your comment I went to look it up in Wikipedia and can’t agree with you more!
