Cabal is an interesting note. I suspect that TD has a ton of them in storage (or tossed them.) Because only the bracelets had a significant benefit out of the gates, it really sounds like they just weren't popular items in orders. I definitely see more bracelets around than anything else. As I hunted to build 2 cabal sets, the hardest part to find was the charm (I'm still short 1 charm to have 2 complete cabal sets).

I would think there are hundreds of each of those tokens in existence but quite a few just weren't high demand items in orders.

One that comes to mind is from the first Patron run at Origins a few years ago. I think there was only 1 or 2 runs and something like 40 of us doing it. I can't recall which token it was - I'd like to guess Amulet of Plane Shifting but not 100% sure.

The ring was the TDC token IIRC. It also showed up in treasure boxes. The amulet was the first patron only token at Origins a few years back.

Nope Ring of the Hallowed was for doing the TD Celebration (and in the boxes that year). I think the Plane Shifting Amulet might have been in boxes too but not certain....dunno what happened to mine.

It was an interesting design choice.

The original design for the gloves would have made them in demand but they were changed after the token was finalized.

The charm was unfortunately just too situational.

I've wanted a reprint and errata of the Cabal set to bring it's pieces into use a bit more, similar to how the Arcane set has great pieces and a nice bonus.

Cabal hides an amazing benefit behind two bad (situational) tokens

Yeah, I don't recall us not finishing a single 5-person Cabal run on NM or epic yet...

What was it supposed to be?

It is what it is... "hen all three Cabal items are worn, wearers gain the ability to cast two spells from their character card in one round. (Both spells are marked off the player’s card.) The second spell is cast as a Free Action. Unlike the Bracelets of the Zephyr ability, either or both spells cast in this manner are capable of being modified or duplicated because neither is “cast as a scroll”. This ability is usable once per room."
