Cabal is an interesting note. I suspect that TD has a ton of them in storage (or tossed them.) Because only the bracelets had a significant benefit out of the gates, it really sounds like they just weren't popular items in orders. I definitely see more bracelets around than anything else. As I hunted to build 2 cabal sets, the hardest part to find was the charm (I'm still short 1 charm to have 2 complete cabal sets).

I would think there are hundreds of each of those tokens in existence but quite a few just weren't high demand items in orders.

It was an interesting design choice.

The original design for the gloves would have made them in demand but they were changed after the token was finalized.

The charm was unfortunately just too situational.

I've wanted a reprint and errata of the Cabal set to bring it's pieces into use a bit more, similar to how the Arcane set has great pieces and a nice bonus.

Cabal hides an amazing benefit behind two bad (situational) tokens

What was it supposed to be?

It is what it is... "hen all three Cabal items are worn, wearers gain the ability to cast two spells from their character card in one round. (Both spells are marked off the player’s card.) The second spell is cast as a Free Action. Unlike the Bracelets of the Zephyr ability, either or both spells cast in this manner are capable of being modified or duplicated because neither is “cast as a scroll”. This ability is usable once per room."

Worth mentioning, prior to the cabal this is what we all "thought" zephyr did, so as I recall there was some animus towards the cabal that year that may have also contributed to lower sales of cabal items.
Semper Gumby, Always flexible.

Sartre sits in in a coffee shop and asks for a coffee without cream. The barista apologizes “Sorry, we don't have any cream. Can I offer you a coffee without milk instead?”

NOPE

This is the official FINAL version of the UR tokens from 2013.

The official FINAL version of the Gloves of the Cabal gave 1x 1st level 2x 1st level or 1x 2nd level spell

This was apparently an error in design per Jeff back then but it was a MASSIVE change over the actual designed token, and lead to the set being as unused as it is.

Of possible interest on Ebay is the True Dungeon Treasure Token Collectors Kit if it has not been mentioned yet.
Listed under Ebay Seller pendragon-games
Contains the Woodie Wondrous Bag of Holding
I didn't know these existed. Always cool TD history to discover

OLD OLD items. Back from the time when the actual drink cups were also available to purchase.

I'd honestly love to have a little bit more of this merch available again

I'd love to have more stuff like that for sale again also. I think they didn't sell well back then (I remember Jeff was clearing the mugs out for $20 for the four, and at one point you could get them for 1 treasure coin each (IIRC) - I should have taken advantage of those deals!). Maybe they'd sell a lot better now, since there are so many more True Dungeon players and collectors.

I’ve been trying to win one of those collector albums every time one gets listed. Maybe this will be the one...
