Actually, it does. For packages with really cool tokens, we fill the box with a special shipping gas. Sometimes though, due to barometric pressure, temperature, relative humidity, and astrological alignment, this gas can can cause high-value tokens to vaporize if the package is not opened up quickly enough to expose the cool tokens to a nitrogen-oxygen atmosphere. I guess we could try a different kind of shipping gas, but we bought tons of the stuff and don't want to buy anything else until we run out of what we already have. It means you should be wearing a respirator.

That probably explains why I get a little light headed when opening the loot box.

Well, here's hoping there's enough gas left in the box when it arrives.

My package still says expected delivery is Saturday, but it is on track to arrive today. I looked at the package for V2a and it went through 15 scans before being delivered. My current package has gone through 10 scans thus far and is running 26 minutes ahead of the pace for the last one. It still needs to leave that site, get scanned in twice at the final PO destination before being sent out for delivery. Based on last time I should expect to see it in about 5 hours.

I just got my first update, mine just arrived at a USPS Facility in Portland, OR. Which I don't think is in-between Carbondale and Indiana. It had better hurry or that shipping gas is going to dissolve all my good tokens!

yikes. seems like shipping a USPS package is like playing russian roulette in terms of delivery.

Well, my bullet chamber was empty this time. Mine competed the second to last scan and has been finally updated to say out for delivery; expected delivery between 9am and 1pm. Now to construct an airtight environment in which to open the package.

Actually, it seems like the key is to expose it to standard atmosphere as quickly as possible. Possibly some low level explosives as soon as it arrives to open the box almost instantly?

Although - I guess I should assume that my box has no special shipping gas and therefore no special tokens, since rather than speeding to me extra-fast, it seems to just be headed the wrong direction.

Mine just switched from Monday to Today!

Hopefully that speed means legendary or eldritch!
