Yeah, its not like I put on five layers of tape, but there's pretty much not a square inch of the box without tape by the time I'm done. i figure every corner and seam needs reinforcement, sometimes both vertically and horizontally.

Last time I sent a medium flat rate of transmutes it definitely could've functioned as an anchor by the time I was done with it. Enough tape to withstand a hurricane.

this is the reason i drive to get my order and pick it up...the same with transmuting.

I vastly prefer to do transmutes in person whenever possible, but, well, 2020. Origins and GHC were (are?!) excellent for this purpose. I have wheeled a suitcase full of nothing but transmutes into GHC’s transmute room. Saves on postage and vastly reduces the risk of loss in transit. But it looks like I’m stuck with mail for a while.

Wish they had transmutation at Pax South but they dont I can only send in by mail

Yup did this for Origins and got stopped by TSA and the whole thing...nice benefit is that a ton of transmutes makes room for a carry on full of new board games!
