Gotcha, I had to put my glasses on for that! The variant token has the exact same stars on the perimeter of the face that the non-variant tokens have. As far as I can tell, the variant is genuine. It's going in my collection!

I'll probably survive without this variant. I'm not really chasing variants when it comes to printing issues (like too much ink or not enough, etc.). If I happen to find them, it's cool. But when it comes to incorrect backs, or different years on the back, those I usually chase...hehe.

Probably the fact that TEs get checked more closely for legitimacy, I would guess.

Man, I hope mine is legit. I want to sell it to recoup some of my money.

Have they always done that? I feel like I have some older URs that don’t have starry dimples, but I’ll have to check. Maybe I just never noticed.
