TOPIC: Attack multipliers

There is not this one token that lets the dwarf do 6x..8x..9x damage
It would break the game.

The dwarf fighter does 630 pts of damage.
He kills this monster and the monster in next room for combat

Sounds good. It is finally time the fighters to actually be on top for damage. ;)

Actually the sacred hand grenade definitely works. That is x4 damage for a 5th level dwarf (4x since doubling an existing multiplier, per RAW, increases it one step).

I’m not aware of any other doubler currently in the game.

Fred K wrote: Actually the sacred hand grenade definitely works.

as does Sacredseed or any other DF-usable weapon that deals 100% Sacred damage.

Just to be clear, the double damage vs. Undead is not a "special property" of Sacred Hand Grenade. SHG does 2× damage vs Undead because all Sacred damage deals 2× vs Undead. If SHC's token text simply said, "Deals Sacred damage" it would still deal 2× damage to Undead. The extra text on SHC is there as a reminder, it's not an effect that's unique to that particular token.
Have you looked it up in the TDb ?

So if any weapon that does sacred damage also crits, it would automatically be X3 damage (unless the weapon or character were already at x3)?

Most (currently, all but two) weapons that deal Sacred damage only deal part of their damage as Sacred. As I'm sure you read on the TDb description for one of those weapons, only the Sacred portion of the damage is doubled against Undead.

Yep. It would be difficult to engineer something where all the character’s damage is a single type and all would cleanly work into a doubler. Conceptually, the same would apply to any vulnerability but I suspect sacred would be the most likely to come up.

There is also the fact that many undead can't be crit.

True, but I was assuming the DF had equipped one of the tokens that bypass crit-immunity .

Easiest work around there is the charm of final repose - easier slot to use than bracers (i.e. not using bracers of guided strike).
