I was happy to see you can heal any "person" with a Skull of Sacrifice.

tokendb.com/token/skull-of-sacrifice/

"User heals 6 HP on target. The user may target themself."

A few questions:

1. What type of an action is this? Standard?

2. This token refers to a "person" - others refer to "characters."

What is a person? (Players only?)

What is a character? (Any dungeon denizen?)

Rule of Thumb: If no action type is explicitly stated, Standard is a safe bet

person = character = ally = party member
person != monster
Have you looked it up in the TDb ?

Think of Skull of Sacrifice as a healing potion with a slightly different flavor.
That does not mean you drink it, because it is not an actual potion. As stated on the token itself, it is crushed to activate the healing magic.
That does not mean you can use it as a Free Action with a Belt of Retrieval .

Does that mean GAP increases its healing by 1?

Crush it != eat it || drink it

It’s more like an Easter egg. You have to bash your ally with it.

This is an excerpt from the page you linked to:
The bonus healing effect from this item is not triggered by cast-spells, nor by healing items not orally consumed. E.g., a healing salve would not receive the bonus healing because a salve is rubbed on the skin, not eaten or drunk.
Do you feel Skull of Sacrifice's use meets that criteria?

You are correct. I should have read more before reflex posting.

I guess you could eat it after crushing it. It doesn't say you have to eat it before the healing occurs. ;)

The skulls of my enemies always leave a bad taste in my mouth, if you can avoid it I would do so.

What about hollowing out the skull and drinking healing potions from it?
