I feel bad for Trent, one more variant

One more for 2020. Another for 2021. Etc. A new token back every year they are made.

One of the 4 Charm of Avarice I had at GenCon this year, 2 of which were swapped Thursday morning. Scanned correctly at 130AM Friday morning on my final Thursday run.

1 of those 4 Charms came up invalid at 10:30 Friday morning on my first Friday run.

There was mention of not removing them from their hard plastic case by people on site.

Apparently it's possible for the charms to get damaged non-physically somehow.

I was able to get mine replaced but I hope we QUICKLY get a response from Jeff as to how this will be handled in the future.

I count myself VERY concerned

I know Druegar checked the ones I exchanged before giving them to me, and I checked them again after the Con and they scanned fine. However hearing this concerns me. And I had concerns the first time I held one. It's so light and cheap feeling. Even in the Token case I'm worried that if I drop it on a hard floor the thing is going to crack. I'm probably going to keep them stored in my Dansco binders like I have been doing.

Yeah I have no concern keeping them in the dansco binders, they should hold up just find in there.

I traded Lazlo for my 2x 2019 CoA on Wed at Gen Con. He mentioned that they are flashed with the original creators names when the CoA is created. I would love to get my name on my tokens, but it sounds like changing the name may, or may not be something TPTB want to do. Any ideas / thoughts?

Trade your completed Charms for the ingredients for them, and then transmute the new Charms, getting your name flashed on them?

I like it! I started with all the ingredients, traded them for CoAs.. next I trade the CoAs for ingredients, then make more CoAs. I even get a 2020 stamped one in the deal..

I had some of my Averices not scan a few times, then they scanned later on. It seems like they were not always scanning properbly. To be honest, the first time they didn't scan, I almost blew a gasket, I did keep calm since the coordinator knew I transmuted them!

I would say they were scanning about 80% of the time.

My CoA wouldn't scan at all. It was a nervous moment. The volunteer accepted it anyway, but when it happened again on my second run I was instructed by Laz to return the next morning to swap it. I don't think my 2020 has my name flashed on it, but I could be wrong.

I have mine inside a metal money clip/poker chip holder and it scanned every time they tried. Maybe not the first attempt but on the second.
