Apologies if this isn't the right place to ask, but if we have early Thursday runs at GenCon, will there be a chance to exchange prior to it or should I look at mailing mine in for exchange?

We're hoping to have a window of time on Wednesday for just CoA exchanges. It hasn't been finalized, so keep checking the forum for official announcements closer to Gen Con.

Bottom line is they are opening early Thursday 8-9am for CoA exchanges only. No exchanges Wednesday. If you are on the GT run you can still use your old one there Wed.

So I just noticed that my CoA I got at Origins has 2019 on the back, but my Gen Con one has 2020. Strange!

One of the 4 Charm of Avarice I had at GenCon this year, 2 of which were swapped Thursday morning. Scanned correctly at 130AM Friday morning on my final Thursday run.

1 of those 4 Charms came up invalid at 10:30 Friday morning on my first Friday run.

There was mention of not removing them from their hard plastic case by people on site.

Apparently it's possible for the charms to get damaged non-physically somehow.

I was able to get mine replaced but I hope we QUICKLY get a response from Jeff as to how this will be handled in the future.

I count myself VERY concerned

Very interesting - both 2019 and 2020 variants! Completists now have another token to collect.

We ran out of 2019s, that's all. Once they change over to the new year, there is no going back to the previous year. Don't ask me why, ask the Chinese factory.

So... hypothetically if the 2020 edition lasts for 3 years there could be a 2023 version, and then a 2029 version or whatever as long as they keep getting made?
