I use 4 x 24 coin wallets and 4x 1” Dansco binders for characters. I also have the treasure enhancement bag that iunstones, necklaces, 5th level token etc go into for easy access and use character generators to help coaches and my own sanity. Last year our barbarian became a dwarf in the coach room, it wasn’t perfect. The dansco binders at 1” might not fit everything for every character however that is my plan going forward. the bard with instruments and wands last year ( long live unlimited wands) and the monk with too many Shuriken had isses with that size so I got little tubes to keep their combat tokens organized. That honestly might just be the right choice.

To carry I use a Timbuk2 classic messenger bag (9L) and never worry about tokens outside weapons that folks have in their pockets. I hand out the character sheets from character generator so players know what effects they have. The treasure enhancer scare of ‘17 cannot happen as the security pocket inside Velcro’s and zips and buckles. Okay, it is overkill for a walk but True Dungeon is worth overkill.

The 500 or 1k casino chip cases are pretty good for sorting. I like the mulching into baggies and buckets as mentioned here and that is my new favorite idea.

Good luck and slide well

Thanks for the plug Bob. And yeah, these Token Tubes are really secure. I had seen pictures and other people use them before, but once I actually used one myself, I was pretty blown away by how secure they really are, so I had to put them on my site and share them with others.

I went directly to the manufacturer to become an official reseller (like I do with my token binders and token cases), so that I could get a good deal for visitors to my site.

If anyone is interested in more info, you can check them out here: www.trenttokens.com/products/token-tubes-square-20-tokens

The outside shape is square, which I think is great for stacking, storage, and having an extra layer of protection, and the lid snaps on very tightly. I've actually put 20 tokens in one, turned it upside down, shook the tube repeatedly, and the tokens didn't come out!

:)

But each page only holds 9 tokens (albeit very securely and protected), but each book for a build takes multiple pages. As I now am doing builds for fuller groups, I had done the normal coin sheets but tokens fall out so I am likely to make the leap to the sheets that Trent and Kirk sell as they seem to be a thinner way to keep all the builds, along with some wallets for in-dungeon items. It's become too hard remembering if my little red bag in my pocket has healing or is it the gray one or the blue one- or was that where the scrolls were...

Luckily I drive so as long as my back axle can take the weight, I am good.

See my search for small (1in) 3 ring binder with a strap that i can sling over shoulder, i like and use the Optima pages for home sort but transfer to coin wallets for con. I've been waiting for Init systems half size folio to try out but that's still not out yet..
We're all the kind of people who enjoy the game on a "meta" level. We like talking about the game year-round. We buy tokens. We enjoy crafting. We get together during the off-season if we can. We are a very skewed demographic that way. -Raven

Yeah, that's a good price on these, Trent. I've ordered them from a few places in the past and the price can be all over the place. I have had a few pop open in the past, but a rubber band easily fixes that.

My friends from LA (Allen, Jim, Matt,...) have 3-D printed larger tubes with threaded caps, but they ended-up looking like something you would see at an adult toy store...

Thanks. I bought them in bulk because I wanted to offer them at a good price.

But if you (or anyone) buys any of these from Trent Tokens and they stop being securely tight, send it back to me and I'll replace it for free.

And it sounds like your LA friends might be in the wrong business...LOL!

These are what I use. I have 1 per class, plus 10 for the gear every class gets (pants, shoes, charms, etc.), then one for potions, one for arcane scrolls, one for divine scrolls, and one for gear.

Sweet. That sounds perfect. I'm really loving these Token Tubes too!

Last year, I used some containers I found at the Container Store:
www.containerstore.com/s/gift-packaging/containers/lock-ups/12d?productId=10028612&refinements=~variants.register_price%3A0..10

I used the 1.5oz version ($1.29), and they held about 10 tokens.
The good part about these is that they have a screw on lid and they stack!
The top of each will fit into the bottom of each and they "lock" in place.

I labeled each container with a masking tape for the class, and added a second container for scrolls/healing/potions etc. for the classes that needed it.
