Torc of Ki Channeling
+1 to hit, +1 to melee damage, and +1 to AC

Torc of Ki Master
+1 to hit, +1 to melee damage, and +1 to AC, may hit ranged target with Flurry of Blows
Usable by: Monk

(either Torc of Ki Channeling or Gloves of Fly Fist can be used to make the relic)

Wrentaile's Torc of the Ki Avatar
+2 to hit, +2 to melee damage, and +2 to AC, may hit ranged target with Flurry of Blows, Stunning Fist activates on 19-20
Usable by: Monk

I would be very interested to see how this would work with ranged. Would it essentially just make other ranged weapons work like Shurikens or were you thinking more on the idea of Gloves of the Flying Fists?

That is actually the exact wording off Gloves of the Flying Fist.

Though looking at them again, I wonder if the relic/legendary are strong enough.

They are both incredibly powerful. Giving monks a free GotFF would open up the hands slot for Gloves.of the Brute or Mithral Gauntlets.

I would say they are far too good as written honestly.

Hardly free, since it takes the neck slot and is the strongest class of items. And I don't know many monks that use GoFF anymore. Most just use shurikens and one of the items you mentioned.

Shuriken use your ranged to hit, rather than melee. Gloves use melee, which is often much better.

I'm cool if you disagree with me. Based on the power level of the Bard, Druid, and Rogue legendary items, I think these are too powerful. Particularly if one considers that the monks double sliding power.

My $0.02: Yes, definitely too powerful at UR. Even at the Relic level it might be too much.

You'd grab that quiver, and then a handful of different uncommon and rare ammo tokens. Then in each round of combat, you could apply +2 damage (of whatever type the monster you're facing is not resistant to) or a variety or other potential effects. All of this without giving up a slot (other than not being able to use it with a second ammo).

Unless you did it like a Fitting Base. UR/Relic Quiver that gives you endless of one type of ammo for the adventure, but the token is turned in at start.

I kinda like that sorta line of thinking- maybe even just turn in one token and apply it to your attacks for the rest of the room rather than the entire dungeon.

I guess for me it comes down to the transmutation cost, because the UR suggested is essentially a lesser form of the Amulet of the Champion, which is depending on your build is worse than Medallion of Valhalla(I strongly prefer the Con over Dex, but that's just me.)

I also think that this might be one of those things that it would be better to see Jeff's ideas for the Barbarian & Ranger, since those are your other two DPS classes.
