It was on my buy list behind if I ever get ahold of a Charm of Brooching.

Now, it's not.

A second Greater Cloak of Resistance has now taken its place, for the if/when I ever get to make a Pharacus. Though the Shaed I already have could sit in the second back slot until then.

Bottom line, Charm of Brooching isn't a high priority at the moment.

When it was +2 saves and avoid 1 hit, I was seriously thinking about it to replace my +2 Cloak of Resistance. At +1 saves, I'm not going to switch. Like some other folks have mentioned, if the Charm of Brooching is reprinted next year, I might get the Cloak of Shadowskin then.

It sucks now, it will be gone. The Rare +2 saves is better (and cheaper). The first hit may be only 6 points, it wasn't really overpowered unless you had sunk deep in the game and were playing Nightmare or higher.

It was a older token with a slight tweak of 1 miss and +2 it would have been doable and a remembrance of things past.

Might want to look at the Ring of Regeneration, rumor has it those are out there somewhere as well.

Rogues do not have a lot of HP, it was our go to back item.

And now it is back up to +2

I will now keep it sentimental reasons.

I kind of wish there was some middle ground between +1 and +2 to all saves.

+2 is almost a no brainer to wear if you have it.

It is a no brainer. I've gone from maybe 1 to probably 2. One for me and one for my Son. Replacing the +2 Rare Cloak for him was always likely. Now a certainty. For me, I have to decide if +2 save and hit avoidance once per game is better for me that +3 saves.

Unless you have the +6 Cloak and don't have Charm of Brooching.

Thought we still have to turn in for the new version? Or is it going to be errated and we can keep our old tokens?

I'd keeping it, i can't say i'm thrilled but i'm far more tolerant at least i can look at this as the +2 rare with a once a game upside.

I appreciate everyone who posted on this thread and gave honest feedback. I started this thread in a fit of salt but it did work out as folks were able to focus on specific comparisons vs getting lost in the general clutter on the UR and token design note sub threads.
We're all the kind of people who enjoy the game on a "meta" level. We like talking about the game year-round. We buy tokens. We enjoy crafting. We get together during the off-season if we can. We are a very skewed demographic that way. -Raven

I would imagine the number of people in this sub-group to be quite small, and may grow smaller if there is a reprint of Charm of Brooching next year.

Agree. I have the charm and am saving towards Pharacus. Though with the healing changes, I might shift priorities to working towards Relsa's for my Son's Druid build.
